Maybe she’s decided to sell off some of her things on Ebay to pay for the lighter she snatched. Or maybe someone else is just out to makesome money off of her. Either way…
one thing is for sure, Britney Spears’ merchandise SELLS! So what if everyone thinks she’s looney - she can still pack in some dough, even if not from album sales.
So you got a dollar bill with her face on it? That’ll bring you $3.99. Last year, someone sold a half-eaten egg salad sandwich of Britney’s and a corndob nibbled on by then-husband K-Fed for a crazy $520. After she shaved her head, locks of her hair were bid up to over $1000.
Ebay pop culture expert Karen Bard says, “What American buy and sell every day is one of the best indications of what they’re obsessed with. When someone or something is being written about in tabloids or reported about on CNN, if it revs up the American public, you’re bound to discover a bidding frenzy for related listings on eBay.”
Just goes to show ya - even if the news is ugly, it’s still news and you’re still in the papers!
