Mark McGrath is Out

Sugar Ray is about to get their front man back (though I doubt anyone cares at this point) as Mark McGrath has been fired as the host of TV’s Extra. The rocker turned celebrity news show anchor is being replaced by none other than Mario Lopez. Mario has probably been campaigning for the spot since he joined Extra part-time back in 2007. A rep for the show says “[Mario Lopez] has established himself as a highly engaging, likeable and sought-after host and personality.” When the show returns for their 15th season next month, co-host Dayna Devon is also getting a demotion and will remain on only as a special correspondent.
