Kara Dioguardi needs confidence
Lara Dioguardi needs all the confidence in the world as she joins Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson at the judges’ table on Fox’s hit series “American Idol”. She officially joined the trio on 26th August 2008.
During a red carpet press event at Chelsea Piers in New York City, the American Idol judges posed for the snaps and answered the questions.
Simon Cowell told the press, “It’s like, you know, having dinner with three people for seven years, and getting quite bored of each other. So it’s having a fourth person, new opinion, I think it’s gonna be interesting.”
He went further to compliment Kara Dioguardi, saying, “Kara has a good reputation of A, having hits; and B, having an opinion. And that’s a good combination. And she’s cute.”
Dioguardi will join the panel on the judges’ table in January 2009 with the start of Season 8 of the series.
