Saturday Night Live alum Al Franken has won the Democratic nomination for a U.S. senatorial seat in Minnesota on Tuesday night.
He will be running against the incumbent senator Norm Coleman, a Republican, this coming November.
How many actors have turned to politics? DOES IT PAY MORE? Is it easier? Do you get the fame, fortune and the KICKBACKS?
According to news reports, both candidates have saved ‘millions’ to spend on ads and stuff for the final leg of the campaign.
Al must have a lot of ideas for the smear campaign against the republican, can’t wait to see them antics!
Let the ugly war begin.
