David Duchovny Does Damage Control
As we all can clearly remember, David Duchovny did a very rare and brave thing. He admitted to the public than he has signed up for sex rehab. Few stars in Hollywood, would even consider the idea of having to admit their addiction. This act may have been admirable and commendable to most, but not me, who got into the real reason why he had ‘fessed to the addiction.
His addiction was well known, although never confirmed, in Hollywood. In fact, it was only a matter of time before Media outfits and websites spill the beans about the guy’s less than stellar sexual habits. He had admitted his addiction not for the sake of honesty but for DAMAGE CONTROL. He just wanted to pre-empt the media.
His not so friendly attorney confirms the suspicions by saying “that we’re all undignified gutter rats whose scurrilous questions are not to be addressed” which makes it clear that David never respected the decision to share this information to the public.
