Brittany Murphy to play Mickey Rourke’s girlfriend
Brittany Murphy will play Mickey Rourke’s girlfriend in the new Sylvester Stallone action thriller The Expendables.
The actress will be joining an all-star cast that includes Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Stallone.
Murphy, 31, will play a singer and will have to do a musical number for the movie that is currently filming in Brazil.
At 62, Stallone has made headlines across the world as pictures of him showing his rippling muscles on set hit newspapers.
The bare-chested action man not only stars in the film but is also the writer and director.
The Expendables is about a group of mercenaries.
