Top stars’ salaries revealed, with Tiger leading pack
The salaries of Hollywood’s top celebrities have been revealed in the latest issue of Parade magazine.
The special What People Earn 2009 issue spills the beans on who has earned what in the past year.
Jennifer Aniston is featured on the front cover, with her 2008 earnings being listed as $27 million, thanks to the success of her movie Marley & Me.
But she is nowhere near the top earner – pro golfer Tiger Woods is listed as earning $110 million.
Meanwhile singer Beyonce took home a pay packet of $80 million; her husband Jay-Z edged past her with a yearly salary of $82 million.
In sharp comparison, former pop queen Britney Spears earnt a modest $2.25 million in a year that saw her putting her life back together, according to Parade. New tween idol Taylor Swift even topped Spears by making $5.5 million for the year!
Funnywoman and 30 Rock star Tina Fey was able to earn $4.6 million but her former SNL cast mate Will Ferrell blew her figure out of the park, bringing in $31 million in 2008 alone.
But the biggest earner of all was Barbie, with the company behind the plastic doll – who celebrates her 50th birthday this year – raking in $3.3 billion.
