No surgery for hurt Casey, says family friend
A close family member of Casey Aldridge has revealed that the father of Jamie Lynn Spears’ daughter did not have surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain.
Family spokesperson Pastor Odus Jackson has revealed that Aldridge is OK after his car accident Sunday morning.
Jackson says that contrary to reports, Aldridge was not rushed into surgery – but did suffer mild brain trauma.
According to Jackson, Aldridge suffered a skull fracture to his hairline and will be kept at the University of Mississippi Medical Center for 2-3 days for observation.
Aldridge’s fiancé, Jamie Lynn is currently by his bedside as his condition remains stable.
Aldridge was charged with careless operation of a motor vehicle following a car accident at around 1.30am on Sunday in Louisiana.
Police told TMZ that Aldridge, 19, was driving on the LA 606 freeway when he lost control of his truck and it flipped over.
Three other passengers were involved in the single car accident, with one reportedly suffering a broken collarbone, another getting X-rays on his hip and the third suffering just bruising.
Aldrige and Spears are the father to daughter, Maddie Briann Aldridge who was born in June 2008.
