Candy Spelling speaks out about her feud with daughter Tori

Candy Spelling has spoken out about her feud with daughter Tori and dismissed rumours Oprah Winfrey plans to buy her $150 million mansion.

Candy, 63, recently wrote a plea on her website begging her daughter Tori, 35, to get in touch and she talked about why she made the public plea.

She said to US show Extra: "[Tori] mentions [my website] quite often on her show… I felt like I had to reach her somehow. She doesn’t answer the emails. She doesn’t answer the texts. I was really just making one last plea."

Extra’s Jerry Penacoli talked to Tori about Candy’s comments and she said: "[My mom] has not contacted me. And she’s welcome to contact me. Privately."

But Candy said it’s difficult to contact her daughter when she lives her life so publicly through her reality show.

She said: "This is a fascinating subject. And what is really going on, I have no idea… I absolutely have tried [to reach her]."

Candy was asked if she knew the reason why there is a feud between her and Tori and she said: "I really don’t know… There’s no answer because she’s never replied. I have no way of knowing."

It was recently rumoured that Candy’s mansion is on the market for a staggering £150million and she confirmed the reports and said: "Yes, it’s only been on the market for maybe three weeks."

But asked about rumours that chat show host Oprah Winfrey is planning to buy the mansion, she said: "Not that I’ve heard of."
