George Clooney set to be defence witness in Rande Gerber sexual harassment lawsuit

Hollywood superstar George Clooney is being lined up as a defence witness for Cindy Crawford’s husband Rande Gerber in a sexual harassment lawsuit.
The movie hunk is prepared to take the stand to defend Gerber against the accusations from two female ex-employees, US reports say.
The former waitresses claim they were fired from a restaurant owned by Gerber’s company for rejecting the advances of the business mogul and other managers.
But Gerber has called the allegations a ‘blantant lie’ and says he has witnesses to prove it – including Clooney.
A spokesman for Gerber told celebrity website TMZ: “Mr Gerber and Mr Clooney will take lie detector tests to prove that the allegations against Mr Gerber are false.
“Mr Gerber will not settle this extortion case even for a single dollar and will take all actions necessary to clear his name, including filing a $10 million lawsuit for malicious prosecution once these allegations are proven false.”
One of the women alleges Gerber tried to kiss her three times in one night while she was working at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego in 2008.
She claims he then ‘put his hand up (her) dress in between her legs in an attempt to fondle her crotch’.
The women are suing for unspecified damages.
