Angelina Jolie is reportedly furious that Transformers star Megan Fox is being lined up to replace her in another Tomb Raider film.
Angelina, 34, played the lead role of Lara Croft in the two Tomb Raider films, and it is now claimed a prequel is in the works, which will focus on Lara’s younger days.
However, reports claim movie bosses will replace Angelina with younger actress Megan, 23, who is 11 years her junior.
A source said: “Angie was intent on reprising her role. She feels it’s something she helped define and feels robbed that it looks likely to be handed to someone whom she considers less capable than her.”
It is claimed Angelina isn’t a fan of Megan’s film Transformers and is said to be unhappy with the constant comparisons between them.
The source added: “Angie isn’t a fan of the Transformers films and believes Megan won’t do the Lara Croft character justice. She’s also annoyed because she thinks Megan copies everything from her, from her tattoos to her style.”
