Bruno sees Madonna as a “transsexual child catcher”
Sacha Baron Cohen’s character Bruno has branded superstar singer Madonna as a “transsexual child catcher”.
The character has insulted a number of celebrities as he travels the world promoting new film Bruno.
It is claimed Cohen, 37, had fallen out with Madonna, 50, over the film.
He said: “Ich divide Madonna into ze following eras: Puppy Fat (Like Ein Virgin), Skanky Marilyn (True Blue), Tzitzen Out (Vogue, Erotica), Total Scheisse (the 90s), und her current, Transsexual Child Catcher.”
During the film, Austrian fashion designer Bruno adopts a baby from Africa and names the child O.J. and claims the baby is a fashion accessory.
He is making a clear reference to Madonna’s adoption of Malawian children David and Mercy.
