Porn star has paid $18,000 for a cameo in Ugly Betty
An American porn star has paid $18,000 for a cameo role in US sitcom Ugly Betty.
Michael Lucas, 37, is the director and CEO of Lucas Films, one of America’s largest gay-adult-film companies.
He won the walk-on role on the sitcom starring America Ferrara and Michael Urie, pictured, at a charity auction to raise money for the Stonewall Community Foundation.
Lucas said: "I paid $18,000 for the opportunity, and this is a chance for adult stars to step out of their box.
"My appearance will also show American audiences that there is no reason a porn star can’t appear on national television."
