Harry Potter stars to wear white ribbons to the London premiere of new film

Harry Potter stars will wear white ribbons to the London premiere of their new film to remember their co-star who was stabbed to death last year.
Rob Knox was 18 years old when he was killed outside a bar in May last year. He had a small role in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and appeared in three scenes as Marcus Belby.
As a tribute to Rob, the stars of the film will be wearing the ribbons.
Actress Bonnie Wright, who plays Ginny Weasley, said: “We wanted to wear a white ribbon wristband as a mark of respect.
“It is also a tribute to anybody who has been the victim of a senseless, stupid, tragic crime like this. There have been too many.”
Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the lead role of Harry, added: “Rob’s death was absolutely tragic. I can’t pretend to be his best friend but I knew him and I liked him and it was a terrible shock.
“He was one of those guys who was liked by everyone who came into contact with him, and his death casts a huge shadow.”
Rob’s dad Colin said he was moved by the gesture: “I am like jelly, that is so touching.
“I knew they thought a lot of Rob – many of the cast came round to the house afterwards and told such wonderful stories about him. But to remember him at the premiere is lovely. I am lost for words.”
