Jessica Simpson reportedly heartbroken after being dumped the night before her birthday
Good news boys! It seems Dukes of Hazzard star Jessica Simpson is back on the market after reportedly being dumped the night before her birthday.
The country music singer, who played hotpants-wearing Daisy Duke in the hit movie, was apparently ditched by NFL star Tony Romo hours before she turned 29, on Friday.
“She is heartbroken,” a source told People.com.
“She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.”
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback first sparked breakup rumors when he was spotted partying with friends at a celebrity hangout on Jessica’s birthday.
The blonde singer, who recently came under the spotlight for gaining some extra curves, was nowhere to be seen. The couple has been dating for 18 months.
“He had quite a few girls stop by his dance floor table,” an onlooker told the magazine.
“Romo was sipping Grey Goose and having a fun time with the boys.”
Nether Simpson nor Romo have confirmed the split.
