In a complicated web of company ownership, a finance high flyer’s legal problems could throw a spanner into a lawsuit involving Travis Barker, Adam DJ AM Goldstein and the Estate of Travis’s late assistant Chris Baker who died in the crash of their chartered Learjet.

The financier, Danny Pang, is out of jail on a $1 million bond, and his investment firms are currently under investigation.

One of the firms reportedly owns Inter Travel & Services Inc., the charter company of the Learjet that crashed in September, 2008.

Four people were killed in the crash, and Barker was injured.

Pang, 42, liked to socialise in Hollywood and has kept company with Paris Hilton. All of his assets are now frozen and his companies are in receivership while the government probes his activities.

The offshoot for the Barker lawsuit, say attorneys for Pang, is that Pang will not be able to turn over documents about Inter Travel & Services that could prove critical for evidence on how the company was maintaining its fleet of charter jets.
