London mayor fancies Brad Pitt or George Clooney to play him
If there was any superstar to play himself, the Mayor of London thinks it should be Brad Pitt followed by George Clooney.
Boris Johnson revealed his picks to play himself in a biopic at the London premiere of Bright Star, a movie about John Keats directed by Jane Campion.
Johnson said: “It’s this guy Brad Pitt isn’t it? The obvious contender. And if he’s not available then Clooney.”
Johnson clearly found Bright Star to be an inspiration. He said: “John Keats is a classic example -young guy, came from nowhere, he had no preparation for the fame he discovered. A man of unbelievable talent inspired by great literary works – in the same way we want to inspire young Londoners with film, that’s why we’re promoting it across London [with the film festival] and doing all the things we’re doing.”
