Hugh Hefner has made most of his dreams
Playboy legend Hugh Hefner has said that he has managed to make most of his dreams come true over his life.
The 83-year-old founded the US magazine in 1953 and still runs it today, and he admitted that his dreams over the years have come true.
He said: “But I’ve managed to dream impossible dreams and make most of them come true beyond anything I could possibly have imagined.”
Hefner is known for his love of the ladies and is currently living with number one girlfriend Crystal Harris, 22, as well as twins Karissa and Kristina Shannon, 20.
He admitted that his desire to love and be loved has driven him as he didn’t receive the affected he needed when he was younger.
He said: “My younger brother and I were raised in a home in Chicago with no real affection. We knew we were loved, but there was no display of affection.
“I think that my quest for romantic love and the adventure of romantic love was filling the space that was left because I didn’t get the affection when I was young.”
Hefner, who has previously had up to seven girlfriends at once, said that if he doesn’t have a relationship, then his life doesn’t feel complete.
He said: “If I’m not in love, if I don’t have a primary relationship, at minimum, I don’t really feel fulfilled or happy, no matter what else is going on.”
