Winona Ryder is pushing her comeback forward with a television movie, When Love Is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story.

The Hollywood fallen angel stars in the tale of the challenges faced by the co-founder of Al-Anon. Barry Pepper will star opposite her in the movie that began shooting in Toronto, CBS said.

When Love Is Not Enough is based on the biography of William G. Borchert.

“Spanning more than 30 years, this movie is based on the true story of the enduring but troubled love between Lois Wilson, co-founder of Al-Anon, and her alcoholic husband, Bill Wilson, co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous,” CBS said.

Ryder appeared in Girl, Interrupted, The Age Of Innocence, Little Women and Star Trek. Her career was derailed when she was convicted of shoplifting items of clothing from a store. She has lately begun to make movie and TV appearances.
