Sherlock Holmes star Jude Law tried to stop a group of students from looking at him by reportedly throwing oranges.
The 36-year-old threw four pieces of fruit after seeing the girls waving at him from a university dorm that was overlooking his flat in New York.
It is claimed he had been practising yoga on his balcony when he spotted the girls looking and threw two pieces of fruit but missed. However he hit them with the second throw.
One of the students, Neha Najeeb, said: “There was orange pulp on the glass for a week.
“We don’t like Jude Law anymore.”
Law is currently starring as Hamlet on Broadway and he has made no comment on the matter.
