No booze for Sheen under restraining order
Brooke Mueller’s restraining order against Charlie Sheen prevents the actor from drinking alcohol, a copy of the official document reveals.
Under the rules of the protection order – issued just hours after the couple’s alleged Christmas Day scuffle – the Spin City star “shall not possess or consume alcoholic beverages or controlled substances”.
It also prohibits Sheen from owning or controlling any weapons.
The restraining order, which has been signed by both Sheen and judge James B. Boyd, was put in place before the judge allowed the actor to be released from jail.
Under Colorado law, a protection order must be made between those arrested for domestic violence and their alleged victims before the former can be released from custody.
Under the order – filed at Pitkin County Court on Monday – Sheen must stay away from Mueller, the mother of his nine-month-old twin sons.
Sheen spent about 10 hours in custody before posting $8500 bail and being released. He is due to appear in court on February 8.
