Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer joke about old age at Oscars
Helen Mirren and Christopher Plummer joked about their old age as they appeared on the Oscars red carpet.
The Last Station stars were both nominated for their roles in the film – Mirren, 64, for best leading actress and Plummer, 80, for best supporting actor.
The pair said they were enjoying their time at the Academy Awards but couldn’t help feeling old.
“He can laugh at my bad back and I can laugh at his bad knees,” Mirren said.
Plummer added: “We’re over 14 and you can still have fun over 14.
“With this lady, there’s no such thing but fun.”
