Sandra Bullock’s sister sets record straight
Sandra Bullock’s younger sister has taken to her blog – to shoot down stories and rumours of where the Oscar-winning star has been hiding out.
Protective Gesine Bullock-Prado is rising to her older sister’s defence as the star stays out of sight following the news her husband Jesse James had allegedly cheated on her with five mistresses.
Writing on her blog Confections Of A (Closet) Master Baker, Bullock-Prado, who runs a bakery in Vermont, is denying that Bullock spent the Easter holiday with her sibling in the New England state.
Bullock-Prado says it’s “impossible” and says she was celebrating Easter and her own wedding anniversary with husband Ray, adding: “With poached eggs and crepes at Yolk on South Michigan Avenue in Chicago.”
She adds: “But wait, apparently I’m able to time travel, given the tales that reported that my husband of eleven years and I took my sister to some inn (which shall remain nameless because they’ve gotten enough free publicity from lying up to now) for Easter dinner.”
Bullock-Prado says she’s speaking out now – and for once not focusing on food in her blog – because she’s, “Deadly serious about my family, their privacy and even the most benign fictions printed about them.”
Bullock-Prado produces physical evidence on her blog: her Chicago airline tickets.
She also writes: “So to set the record completely straight, if the post on Easter about gorging my way through Chicago doesn’t convince you to my whereabouts and only my whereabouts, then let my reservations on the lovely United Airlines be a true and honest testament to what I ate for Easter dinner and with whom, and it wasn’t with my lovely family at some nameless Vermont inn I’ve never set eyes upon.
“That night I ate alone and I ate airline food. And who the hell would lie about that?”
