Sandra Bullock ‘left cryptic clues’ about her adoption of a baby in Oscars speech
Sandra Bullock is thought to have left cryptic clues about her adoption of a baby in her Oscars acceptance speech.
The 45-year-old actress recently revealed that she adopted Louis from New Orleans earlier this year.
In her acceptance speech at the Oscars in March, Bullock said: “I would like to thank what this film is about for me, the mums that take care of the babies and the children no matter where they come from. Those mums and parents never get thanked.”
She won the Best Actress gong for her performance in The Blind Side, which sees a family take in a homeless boy who later becomes an NFL star.
In her speech, she also thanked her late mother Helga.
She said: “[She reminded] her daughters that there’s no race, no religion, no class system, no colour, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else. We are all deserving of love. That trailblazer… allowed me to have that.”
