Chace Crawford: New Gossip Girl love interest is conniving mean girl
Gossip Girl star Chace Crawford has revealed his new love interest in the show is “a raging, conniving mean girl”.
Crawford’s character Nate Archibald finds love in the new season of the hit TV series.
And the new woman in his life is played by former Melrose Place star Katie Cassidy.
While attending the premiere of his new film Twelve yesterday in New York, Crawford told MTV News: “Katie’s great! I know Katie… she just started like three weeks ago and I think 10 or 12 episodes she’s here for.”
But he was less complimentary about her on-screen character.
He said: “She’s obviously a raging, conniving mean girl at the end of it, she sort of does her thing.
“They can’t be straight-up, but she’s fun, her character.”
