While in Shanghai, China, Beck visited the Xinhua hospital to spend some time with the pediatric leukemia patients. He talked with and held the children while there.
Besides visiting patients, he also serves as the UN Children’s Fund goodwill ambassador and travels to underprivileged nations to help children.
Whatever is in the stars for David Beckham this year I haven’t a clue. But the sexy footballer has new ink work on his forearm featuring a string of them.
After opening his third football academy, the LA Galaxy midfielder showed the tatt off during a kick about in Brazil. And don’t get me wrong, he looked good doing it. Becks is a cool guy and in great shape but I have to say I think he’s overdoing it on the inking front.
The new work has been done since his charity trip to Sierra Leone ten days ago. But there’s still room on his upper arm for a “Beckham 100” logo if he gets his 100th England cap next week.

Victoria Beckham is slowly building her name as a fashion icon but she has some really weird picks for the styles that she loves. She actually told the Mirror that she loves Amy Winehouse’s style! If it’s good enough for Chanel, it’s definitely good enough for Posh.

Suri Cruise is such a little princess. And she’s also inherited her parents’ fondness for jet-setting. The Cruise family has been all over the world in the past week, making stops in Italy, London and Los Angeles.

And I know Victoria will ring me as soon as the first show ends. She says the rehearsals have gone amazingly well.”

In a surprise visit to the rehearsal studios of The Spice Girls, film stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with 19th month old daughter Suri; were treated to an impromptu private performance.It seems that having friends like Victoria and David Beckham on their speed dial has there bonuses. Following the surprise visit, Victoria said: “David and I are great friends with Tom and Katie. It was lovely of them to come down to rehearsals, a really nice surprise.
“Katie has told me before that she used to be a huge Spice Girls fan, so it was great for her to meet the other girls.”
Apparently this is what makes news these days. In essence some people went to visit friends where they had a sing song and a boogie. But because they are famous the world has to know about it. I sigh in exasperation and say good for them.
On a more relevant note, The Spice Girls are joining the reunion wagon and their tour kicks off in December. Is it the in thing for old bands to reunite this year?
Hip-hop star Snoop Dogg has hired his children the best soccer coach in the business - British sporting ace, David Beckham. The rapper struck up an unlikely friendship with Beckham during the late 1990s, and decided to call in a favor from the star when he moved out to Los Angeles earlier this year. David I always though was not into this celeb drive and I though he’d always keep his integrity and not go hogging for money like a dog who has fire light up on his tail trying to find some water source to find some relief. She launch DVB line with rock & republic (success), did two successful books, she has been a major fashion icon for 6 years, she was a spice girl you know, the best girl band from the nineties, she did some music with roca-fella……….What did she do, Jordan ? celebrity in jungle… Seriously, Jordan is an idiot. She’s done less than Posh, which by her own definition, she’s even more pathetic. Something tells me Jordan is simply jealous. David Beckham was in a somber mood yesterday as he rushed off from LAX to go visit his ill dad. He had just gotten the word that his 59 year-old Father had had a heart attack. David and his father were not on the best of terms because in 2002 Ted split from wife of 32 years Sandra. Disputes and misunderstandings apart, this is not the time when any son or daughter whose had a break-up or are not on talking terms to remember their old grievances. It is time that all bad things are forgotten and it is time to be besides your parents and look after them. David has done the right thing by leaving for UK and by not wasting any more time in USA. He’s got many contracts I know that but there is nothing more important in your life other than your family.
According to Radar magazine Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are the most overrated people in the world. Ratings apart the choice of words that the magazine has used for Victoria - A POINTLESS COLLECTION OF BODY PARTS!!!!! HAHAHAHA… NO OFFENSE TO THE BECKHAMS, but those are some funny words….Wow! Actually sounds like a reasonably honest list, putting Pitt and Oprah Almighty on that list of overrated people. And Bono ta’ boot? If they have Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin on that list I’m going to see it out and find a way to subscribe. But what ever has been the criteria for the ratings, David certainly knows how to play soccer or else he would never have been the captain of the England national football team. And Victoria would never have been a successful singer and designer that she is today. So probably the magazine should have a relook at the publishing and be more considerate on the matter.

The British ‘Big Brother’ reality show bimbo Chanelle Hayes arrived at a London event this past Thursday night dressed exactly the same way as Posh did when she attended an award show last June.
For some reason, I think Chanelle looks like a trashier and cheaper version of Posh. But then again, she would be cheaper because she doesn’t have a husband that earns $250 million a year just by sitting on the bench.

The sports star admits his wife went to great lengths to get sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz placements as a posh Los Angeles elementary school. It’s great she and her husband want the best for their children, like any other parent. But what kind of posh school is that, but its Hollywood, those folks love the kissing up, no matter how much money you’ve got. But the more the posh school snubs her; it appears the more she goes after them. Well, Mrs. Beckham , you’re not use to receiving that kind of treatment, maybe you’re finally get a bad taste what you dishes out. Bona appetite Victoria.
