Rumors are abounding that Beyonce and Jay-Z might be taking the plunge - into marriage. A source says that the couple went today to get a wedding license in New York.
Beyonce’s rep wouldn’t comment, but the source said that they license would be good for 60 days, which means a wedding would have to happen by June 1. Unfortunately, this info came too late for anything to be found out from the county clerk’s office.
Beyonce and Jay-Z have been dating for over five years, and have managed to stick together despite breakup and cheating rumors. This isn’t the first time that people have said the two were getting married. Supposedly they were getting married back in December 2006, but it didn’t happen.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie are set to renew their wedding vows.
The ‘Hung Up’ singer, who married Guy in 2000, is planning a star-studded summer ceremony to reaffirm her commitment to the film director. The couple will also exchange eternity rings.
A source said: “Renewing their vows is the one way Guy and Madonna can show the world they are strong. They have worked hard to iron out their differences to get through the tough times. It is going to be very emotional day and that is why they want the people who are closest to them to share it with them.”
Fashion designer Stella McCartney is set to create a cream trouser suit for close friend Madonna to wear during the private ceremony at the couple’s Wiltshire home. ‘Shakespeare in Love’ actress Gwyneth Paltrow is believed to have been asked to perform a reading during the service.
