Cheryl Tweedy’s dancer friend Derek Hough feels guilty about the star getting malaria.

Tweedy, 27, is currently being treated in a London hospital after being diagnosed with the disease following a trip to Tanzania.

Hough, 25, a dancer on US show Dancing With The Stars, accompanied the star abroad and reportedly called his mum crying after she was taken ill.

His stepdad Aaron said to UK newspaper The Sun: “Derek feels guilty. He is very distressed about all this. He feels he has done this to her. He rang his mum yesterday in tears.

“Derek feels it is all his fault. He organised the holiday as something wonderful. For it to end up like this is terrible. He feels dreadful.”

The British comedian, 35, rolled up his sleeves and pointed to the ink on his bicep as he promoted new movie, Despicable Me, on Live With Regis & Kelly.

Elle McPherson has been heavily criticised by animal rights campaigners after the supermodel admitted she eats powdered rhino horn.

The 47 year-old had revealed in a Twitter interview with the Times that the supposed remedy tasted: “A little bit like crushed bone and fungus in a capsule. Does the job though.”

She went on to say that it: “Put it this way, works for me.”

The Chinese herbal product is banned by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) in a bid to stop the slaughter of rhinos.

“The Humane Society International condemns the poaching of rhinos, particularly for their use in beauty products and Ms Macpherson’s actions are reprehensible,” Nicola Beynon, of the Humane Society International said the Toronto Sun reports.

“There is no excuse for using any endangered animal products,” International Fund for Animal Welfare spokeswoman Erica Martin told SkyNews.

The New York Daily News also quoted Martin as saying: “First and foremost, selling rhino products is illegal and in breach of CITES.

“And secondly, four out of five species of rhino are literally on the brink of extinction.

“Elle has been a successful businesswoman with a high public profile for decades and people do listen to what she says.”

Celebrities including Jack Nicholson, Val Kilmer and Laurence Fishburne have recalled their memories of actor and director Dennis Hopper, who died last month.

“Hoppy was a great director, in my opinion, and his acting career was totally impressive – he survived so many not-so-great movies,” Nicholson reportedly told Rolling Stone. “But it’s a tough gig, being a director. You’ve got to make money, that’s part of the ballgame.”

Discussing the Easy Rider’s star power, Val Kilmer said: “That twinkle in his eye was as movie-star as it gets. That grin and the way he looked away, then slashed you back with a laser- like look, then a quick nod. He practiced that a lot, you could tell. Actors practice the stuff that works on people. And he worked on people.”

Laurence Fishburne discussed Hopper’s improvised performances, commenting: “It was stunning, the stream of consciousness coming out of him. I was just a kid, 15 years old, but I was blown away by his ability. He didn’t pay much attention to me, but I shadowed him for a while, because I thought, ‘here’s a guy who’s really free’,” Popeater reports.

Jersey Shore star Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola will not face criminal charges after a drunken brawl inside a Florida nightclub, according to reports.

The reality TV hottie was accused of punching stunning blonde clubber Kristen DeMinco twice in the head in a jealous rage at Dream nightspot, in Miami Beach.

DeMinco, 24, was talking to Giancola’s boyfriend, fellow cast member Ronnie Magro, at the time.

According to reports, prosecutors say a case of battery may have occurred but that it is not their policy to file misdemeanour charges against those no longer in the county.

Giancola has since returned to her hometown New York.

Prosecutors say that although the case is now closed, it could be reopened if Giancola returns to Miami, where the controversial cast just filmed the second series of their hit MTV show.

Giancola’s attorney, James Leonard Jr, says his client does not plan on returning to Florida and called DeMinco’s accusation “a feeble attempt to get publicity”.

Shannon Price’s manager has spoken out about her client’s love for her former husband Gary Coleman.

Kourtney Kardashian has revealed how her son Mason got a massage while she recently had to work.

The 31-year-old reality star had to promote the new series of her show Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, so her boyfriend Scott Disick, 27, looked after their six-month-old child Mason.

She wrote on her blog: “I was so beyond sad to leave Mason for the night and cried all morning about it. I debated back and forth with my family if I should bring him or not.”

However, the little boy looked like he was having fun with his dad as he got a massage.

She said: “It seems like he is well taken care of at home, enjoying a massage. Scott just sent me this pic. I think it’s the cutest pic of him I have ever seen!

“Scott brought Mason over to hang out at my mum’s with Kendall and Kylie.”

True Blood star Stephen Moyer said his son was gutted he turned down the chance to take part in Soccer Aid.

The Soccer Aid match recently took place in Manchester, UK, and saw two teams of celebrities and footballers play against each other in a bid to raise money for UNICEF.

Celebrities taking part included Robbie Williams, Mike Myers and Woody Harrelson.

Moyer, 40, admitted he was asked to play but could not make the date.

He said to Access Hollywood: “I was invited to play for England last weekend in the big opening ceremony for the World Cup – for the celebrity England team.

“I couldn’t do it because I was working. And my son – I’m disowned.”

The two-page document leaves the actor’s entire estate to a trust set up in his manager’s name.

It also names his manager, Dion Mial, as the executor of the estate.

Coleman’s 11-year-old will was filed yesterday at the Fourth Judicial District Court in Provo, Utah.

The document was written eight years before he wed Shannon Price and subsequently makes no mention of his wife.

The actor leaves his whole estate to “The Trustee of the Millennium Edge Trust”, which was set up in Mial’s name.

If Mial is unable to execute the will, his sister Monique Madrid Marcum will step in and take over.

Both Mial and his lawyer Kent Alderman insist the 1999 document trumps a handwritten 2007 codicil that lists Price as his sole beneficiary.

Price, however, has hired a lawyer to defend the more recent paperwork.

Although Coleman and Price divorced in 2008, she claims they had reconciled and were thinking of renewing their vows before the actor’s death.

Plans for Coleman’s burial have not yet been announced. His body is currently sitting in a Utah mortuary.

Coleman, 42, died from a brain haemorrhage on May 28.

TMZ.com claims Shannon Price, who divorced the tragic Diff’rent Strokes actor in 2008, got a production company to shoot a series of pictures, which are being now shopped around Hollywood for a five-figure sum.

The disturbing images reportedly show 42-year-old Coleman in his hospital bed, bloodied, with tubes sticking out of his body.

And one picture was snapped after he died, following a massive haemorrhage caused by a fall at his home in Utah.

Price is also said to feature in one of the photos.

The website reports that the production company used is the same one that Price gave an interview to hours after Coleman passed away.

The 25-year-old redhead has already been criticised for allegedly making money from interviews in the wake of his May 28 death.

Now, she is coming under fire for allegedly arranging the photo shoot – and is reportedly set to pocket a slice of the profits.

According to reports, the actor was drinking bottles of wine for breakfast before he collapsed.

An ambulance was called after he was found unconscious on his hotel doorstep at midday last Friday, claims The Sun.

Madsen – in Britain to make a low-budget horror film – then tried to jump out of the ambulance three times on the way to hospital.

A source at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro said: “He was held under common law rules on mental health. If he had attempted to leave he would have been sectioned. He was a high-risk patient and was on suicide watch.”

Staff at the Penventon Park Hotel told The Sun how Madsen, 52, had been drinking constantly.

An insider said: “Staff were shocked by the amount of booze he put away – it looked like he was on a non-stop bender. He was mixing his drinks with pills, but no one knew what they were for. He angered some guests by urinating in the car park. When he was found slumped on the doorstep it was hardly a surprise.”

Another worker told The Sun: “He’ll have a bottle of red and a bottle of white wine with breakfast, then he’ll be back in a few hours for a steak and more wine. He just doesn’t stop.”

Madsen – who also played the sadistic Mr Blonde in 1992 classic Reservoir Dogs – left hospital after sobering up and was last night said to be returning home to the US.

Octomom Nadya Suleman has begged animal lovers not to follow in her footsteps – and stop their pets having babies galore.

The mother of 14 teamed up with animal charity PETA – in exchange for cash and free food – to encourage pet owners to spay or neuter their cats and dogs.

“Help solve the companion animal overpopulation crisis by simply saying no to Octo-cats and Octo-dogs,” she said during a press conference outside her home in La Habra, California. “Always spay or neuter.”

Suleman, who shot to fame when she gave birth to octuplets in January 2009, appeared at the press conference wearing a red PETA t-shirt, with her dark hair tied back.

The 34-year-old posed next to a man in a dog costume and unveiled a poster that read: “Don’t let your cat or dog become an ‘octomom’.”

But it wasn’t just her beliefs that encouraged Suleman to send out an animal rights message.

PETA agreed to give her $5,000 and a month’s worth of free veggie dogs and veggie burgers.

Stumbling over her words, she emerged from her front door and read a prepared statement.

“All my children have a loving home, but the sad fact is that there are not nearly enough good homes for the eight million dogs and cats who enter animal shelters every year – half of whom have to be euthanised due to the lack of good homes,” she said.

Asked whether she truly believed in the cause or just needed the money, she confessed: “Both.”

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly in negotiations to star in a “workplace murder comedy” titled Horrible Bosses.

It has been suggested she would be playing a “sexually aggressive dentist”, E Online reports.

Arrested Development star Jason Bateman and It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia actor Charlie Day are also in negotiations to appear in the film.

In Bruges star Colin Farrell has also been linked to the project, which will be directed by Seth Gordon.

The plot will centre around three friends who are unhappy in their jobs and decide to murder one another’s bosses, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Aniston and Bateman will next appear on the big screen together in The Switch, while Day co-stars in the upcoming Going The Distance with Drew Barrymore and Justin Long.
