Pregnant Halle Berry is winning her battle with diabetes, thanks to a healthy diet and good living. The actress was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes after she passed out while shooting a show called Living Dolls when she first arrived in Hollywood. As a Mother of a Type 1 diabetic child I have not liked what has been said about diabetic people in general. I don’t care if Halle has T1 or T2, both are serious chronic illnesses that require care and attention. However, in T1 diabetes, without insulin people die, this is fact. And, you cannot, by diet and exercise, hope, or prayer change that to Type 2, and you cannot stop insulin - ever. Perhaps before implying to the world, which includes a group of young impressionable kids, that they can “ween” themselves off of a medicine that keeps them alive, she should check to make sure that is accurate and that comment isn’t going to cause one of those impressionable kids to harm themselves. I can tell you, she has caused a lot of waves in the diabetes communities today with this one incredibly ill advised comment.
Marie Osmond fainted on-camera Monday after her samba performance, joining the eerily growing list of celebrities who are literally suffering through this installment of the hit ABC series. Jacko moved to Bahrain in 2005 after being acquitted of his child molestation case. The Prince paid for all of Jacko’s living expenses, security, staff and whatnot for a year. They had a deal of some sort in exchange for the money but Jacko paid back the Prince by fleeing the country. Classy!

Her personal life should be her personal life, but due to the fact that people have no life of their own, depending on the tabloids is their sad truth. If anyone wonders why I might be saying these things, well I’m not really a movie or TV person but I’ve seen some of hers. I have no complaints. She is a beautiful actress and believable for her roles. Sometimes there are things that just should not be made public, whether being a celebrity or not. Citizens have become too accustomed to the heartache and violence in life and I just think many things in the mainstream of everything have become pathetic. I wanted one person to know to keep her head up and to hell with what the media has to dish out. Your fans will be your fans regardless.

She might be taking the kid to some national sanctuary to have a day out in her private jet or something. Well I’d personally love it if my mom took me out to see some wildlife with the craze that I might be able to spot some rare species and come back home zooming in a private jet with some cool photographs to treasure. Personally this picture is one of the recently good pics to Katie, she has her own dressing style and though this one is a formal dress I am sure she would have changed to something more casual during the flight. Arnold Schwarzenegger has banned California teenagers from driving while chatting on cellphones. The actor-turned-Governor has made California the first U.S. state to implement the new law. He signed a bill that makes it illegal for anyone under 18 to use a cellphone while driving. I am in support of this ban by the governor because it would help save the lives of many teenagers who often don’t realize the deadly enormity of their nonchalant attitudes to life. Arnold should also start getting ready to muscle his way to White House in 2012. He may be the knight in shinning armor who would save America. So far, he is doing great in California as governor. More success to him. This is a proof of an elect person who thinks for the society and for the parents whose kids just won’t listen to them, put a state wide ban so at least the parents know that the kids would have to adhere to the law.
Clapping and singing, Madonna joined in a Kabbalah conference Friday in Tel Aviv to celebrate the Jewish New Year.
Madonna was singing Jewish songs with the crowd of hundreds at the David Intercontinental Hotel, site of the conference on Jewish mysticism. At one point she pressed another participant — apparently a friend of hers — up to the front where he danced excitedly, making the singer and the crowd giggle and clap enthusiastically.
The 49-year-old pop star wore a black jacket with elbow-length sleeves that was held at the waist with a belt with a large buckle. She also donned a baseball-type, red-and-black plaid hat with her hair in a ponytail.
Madonna, who is on a private visit to the Holy Land, arrived Wednesday night. She didn’t speak to the media, and the conference was closed to TV cameras.
Demi Moore and her husband, Ashton Kutcher, were also attending the conference in Tel Aviv, and were seen out on the city streets Thursday night.
Madonna was raised a Roman Catholic but has become a follower of Jewish mysticism in recent years.
She has taken the Hebrew name Esther and has been seen wearing a red thread on her wrist to ward off the evil eye.
Madonna made her first trip to Israel in 2004.
Her lawyer may have announced the happy news in open court last month, but that doesn’t mean it’s the truth as Foxy Brown’s manager said on Wednesday, “And to the pregnancy rumors, this is the official statement: She is not pregnant.”
Defense lawyers told a judge in August that rapper Foxy, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was three months pregnant. Foxy even told the New York Post “I’m getting married in September. I’m pregnant!”

Actually sounds like a reasonably honest list, putting Pitt and Oprah Almighty on that list of overrated people. And Bono ta’ boot? If they have Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin on that list I’m going to see it out and find a way to subscribe. But what ever has been the criteria for the ratings, David certainly knows how to play soccer or else he would never have been the captain of the England national football team. And Victoria would never have been a successful singer and designer that she is today. So probably the magazine should have a relook at the publishing and be more considerate on the matter.
Kim Porter, who for more than a decade was in an on-again, off-again relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs, is coming clean about the dissolution of their romance, saying his philandering was just one the reasons for their breakup in July.
“As Black women we sacrifice,” Porter, 36, tells Essence magazine for its October issue, which hits newsstands Wednesday. “We stand by our man, through thick and thin, through whatever. But if you feel like, ‘Maybe I am getting the short end of the stick,’ that’s when a change has to take place.”
Porter’s rudest awakening in all her years with Combs, 37, took place late last year, when she was pregnant with the couple’s twin daughters D’Lila Star and Jessie James, who were born Dec. 21. That was when a girlfriend informed her that Combs had recently fathered a baby with another woman.
“I wasn’t even coming from the place of who, what, why,” Porter tells the magazine. “I laid low and did what women do: I did my background work, collected information . But I wasn’t even on it like that because I was pregnant, and what was bubbling inside me was a blessing from God. I couldn’t let my energy be on that. I didn’t have time for any drama, trauma and bull—-.”
As Porter was to learn, the other baby was born five months before Porter and Combs’s twins arrived. The mother was Sarah Chapman, 33, who lives in Atlanta, worked in fashion and knew Combs for several years, her attorney tells Essence.
Of Combs’s behavior, says Porter, “It’s not an original script. He’s not the first man who’s cheated. He’s not the first man who’s had a baby outside of his relationship. He’s not the originator of this. But at this point in my life – I have girls now – it’s a different program.”
Porter expresses regret that she didn’t first hear about the other child directly from Combs .I would have preferred to find out from him because that’s a man,” she says. “I know it’s hard for anyone to say to their significant other, ‘I’ve gotten into some s— and I got a baby on the way.’ But men do get caught up in things; I’m not naive to that. Still, there’s a right and a wrong way to handle it. Because, most of all, we were friends. Even if I couldn’t have understood it as a woman, I would have understood it as a friend.”
Ultimately, Combs did approach Porter with the news, but it was after their twins were born, she says.
“He told me that he may have gotten himself into a situation and he may have fathered another child outside the relationship and I said, ‘Really? Well, I already knew. I’m glad you decided to be a man,’ ” recalls Porter. “I was like, ‘Dude, this is so wack I can’t even respect you right now.’ And for me, once the respect is gone, I’m not even listening to you.”
But as things finally played out, she says her choice to leave Diddy was simply because the relationship was not working for her. “I’m a Southern girl, and my home life is numero uno,” she says. “I wasn’t waking up feeling happy. There’s no other way for me to articulate it, other than a feeling. I just wasn’t feeling it, that’s why I had to leave.”
Russell Crowe was left exasperated on the set of new western 3:10 To Yuma when director James Mangold tried to direct a herd of cattle, only for the cows to stampede in the wrong direction. I don’t care. I just same YUMA and I thought it was a terrific movie. Crowe was great. Bale is superb, Foster was excellent. Builds to a great climax. You gotta see this movie. When there is a movie that is in the making there are bound to be some mishaps and surely they might have tried to avert the same but things do not always turn out to be the way it is planned. What is important that no one was hurt and the movie has turned out to be brilliant! Aren’t there stunt men and coordination managers who handle a thing on the set, they should be held responsible for all such matters, Mr. Crowe should be thinking more about performing his role and that’s what he is there for.
