Jay KayKate Moss

We all have that one friend who always gets far too drunk at parties and make you spend the rest of the night trying to lose them. They normally fall into people’s drinks, get you and your pals into fights and generally act like an idiot. Everyone has one - even supermodel Kate Moss.

Jamiroqaui star Jay Kay made a total fool of himself at Kate’s 34th birthday bash on Wednesday night. The boozy star became such a nuisance at Soho’s Punk nightclub that Kate’s pals hatched a plan to shake him off.

A source said, “It was an intimate bash but Jay Kay was in a right state and behaving like a right c**k. Everyone went to The Dorchester after the club and Jay Kay tagged along. At about 8am, Kate took some mates to her new house - but they all pretended they were going to their own houses. Jay Kay stayed at the hotel while the rest of them were at Kate’s carrying on the party. It worked a treat.”

Oh the shame…

Rihanna Cuts Hair Against Label's Wishes

Who knew getting a haircut could be so controversial? Apparently so in the case of Rihanna.

She’s the cover girl for January’s issue of Allure magazine. In her cover story interview, she says, “The label (Def Jam) didn’t want me to do this look. But cutting my hair, it made me stand out as an artist. I don’t care who likes it - this is me.”

You have to applaud any girl who will stand up and do her own thing. Rihanna, sweetheart, you’re beautiful and don’t let anyone tell you anything different.

Victoria Beckham on Amy Winehouse’s style

Victoria Beckham is slowly building her name as a fashion icon but she has some really weird picks for the styles that she loves. She actually told the Mirror that she loves Amy Winehouse’s style! If it’s good enough for Chanel, it’s definitely good enough for Posh.

“She has a real sense of style that I just love. She’s very much a fashion icon and I adore what she wears. She’s so unique and original. I’ve never met her but I just love her music - I’ve always got it on at home with David and the children. She’s an amazing singer.”

Tom Cruise Private Show

In a surprise visit to the rehearsal studios of The Spice Girls, film stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with 19th month old daughter Suri; were treated to an impromptu private performance. It seems that having friends like Victoria and David Beckham on their speed dial has there bonuses. Following the surprise visit, Victoria said: “David and I are great friends with Tom and Katie. It was lovely of them to come down to rehearsals, a really nice surprise.

“Katie has told me before that she used to be a huge Spice Girls fan, so it was great for her to meet the other girls.”

Apparently this is what makes news these days. In essence some people went to visit friends where they had a sing song and a boogie. But because they are famous the world has to know about it. I sigh in exasperation and say good for them.

On a more relevant note, The Spice Girls are joining the reunion wagon and their tour kicks off in December. Is it the in thing for old bands to reunite this year?

Don’t worry; it’s been like that for 5 years. Every time she can, not she’s asking to, her talk about Victoria and David only to say bullshit. Victoria is classy and she’s garbage. Victoria never answered back to her because she has business to run. Believe it or not but she made the Beckham name famous. She launch DVB line with rock & republic (success), did two successful books, she has been a major fashion icon for 6 years, she was a spice girl you know, the best girl band from the nineties, she did some music with roca-fella……….What did she do, Jordan ? celebrity in jungle… Seriously, Jordan is an idiot. She’s done less than Posh, which by her own definition, she’s even more pathetic. Something tells me Jordan is simply jealous. Jordan should try and find herself something better to do, Victoria has a fashion house doing well and she has a world tour coming up and the tickets are selling well already, so is that good enough for Jordan to match or she is just good at making silly comments.

Rather than jockey for a front row seat for the shows at Paris Fashion Week with her friend Posh, Katie Holmes was spotted shopping at Armani Junior in Milan over the weekend. Suri is always best dressed of the Celebrity Baby brigade. You that’s what I love to see in a celebrity mom, it’s not just about being a mother and flash your baby’s picture for the magazines and strike a deal with Hello! Or Elle or someone else and rake in the Benjamin’s to fill up the bank accounts. It’s more of being able to maintain that super celeb look on yourself and your kids and then take them out to fun places and sacrifice what other stupid moms would rather generally be expected to be doing. I know that we she were at the Paris Fashion week some paps would be flashing at her appearances and telling kudos of her looks and her style but that would not rank as being a good mom. She goes out to buy some new duds for Suri and still gets reported and has the kudos as well.

British actress Keira Knightley has had enough of the media’s fixation with her looks, weight and figure, and urged people to focus on her films instead.

In Venice to promote her latest movie “Atonement,” the 22-year-old star of the hit “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise had to field questions about her curves during a news conference this week.

“It’s really frustrating, and particularly when you come to Venice film festival with a film that is an intelligent film,” she told Reuters in an interview. “It’s a thought-provoking film you can have a really good discussion about.

“I think it was just a shame that that had to be brought up then, and the fact that we all knew that it was going to be brought up,” she added, referring to the cast and crew of “Atonement” with her at the conference.

“We actually had a bet going. I was like ‘Come on, how many times either anorexia or something about my body, are going to come up.”‘

Knightley is the subject of constant tabloid press coverage of whether she is anorexic, what example she sets girls and young women and who she is linked with romantically.

“I think what I want to keep it about is the work, that’s all I’m interested in, and when you’ve got a project like this I think it’s a shame to take it away from that.”

The actress, nominated for an Oscar in the 2005 film “Pride and Prejudice,” has won early critical praise for her portrayal of Cecilia Tallis in “Atonement,” a film directed by Joe Wright and based on Ian McEwan’s acclaimed novel.

Knightley said she was “really proud” of “Atonement,” her second collaboration with Wright after “Pride and Prejudice.”

But she said she is highly critical of her own work and finds it difficult watching herself on the big screen.

“I’m my worst critic,” she said. “If you really want me to cut my part to pieces, I absolutely can and I don’t want to get to a day when I can’t.”

She said that one of the attractions of playing Cecilia was Wright’s decision to use speech patterns and acting styles similar to those in the 1930s and 1940s, the period in which most of the narrative is set.

“I think the 30s and 40s, (it is a) speech pattern that we’ve pretty much lost now.

“It sort of reached the pinnacle of ’stiff-upper-lip-ness’, and people very rarely do it in these films, people are very frightened of it.”

Carrying a bag could hurt the sentiments of people and this crazy incident happened to actress Cameron Diaz. Movie star Cameron Diaz has been left red-faced during her visit to Peru - her bag carried an offensive slogan to the country. The Shrek actress was visiting the Inca city of Machu Picchu yesterday carrying an olive green bag with a red star and the words “Serve the People” written in Chinese. In Peru the saying is a reminder of the Maoist Shining Path insurgency which brought the country to chaos in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, with almost 70,000 people dying during the massacres and bombings. Cameron is not one of my choices of actresses, “baby needs back bad” And she kinda looks like a drag queen. When we travel we don’t always know everything just as when they come here so why worry they should think she doesn’t know but no they have to make a big deal!
