Will Smith is to host a concert celebrating Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday this summer.

The Hollywood actor and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith have agreed to front the star-studded event in London’s Hyde Park on June 27 after being asked by the iconic former South African leader. As well as recognising the landmark date, the event will raise money for 46664, Mandela’s AIDS charity.

A source said, ‘Will Smith is a big fan of Nelson and wanted to help out. Nelson is so inspirational and so many artists want to be involved. Razorlight, Keane, Queen and Annie Lennox are definites. U2, the Spice Girls and Sir Paul McCartney could join them and Eminem’s up for it too. We think it will be Nelson Mandela’s last international public appearance, which will make it even more special.’

Should Eminem agree to perform it would be his first major concert appearance since his self-imposed retirement in 2005.

The event will be attended by 45,000 music fans, and special guests will include Britain’s Princes William and Harry, former US President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, who is currently running to become the next President.

The first 46664 concert was held in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2003. There have since been events in Norway and Spain. The significance of 46664 is that it was Mandela’s inmate number during his imprisonment in apartheid South Africa from 1964 until 1990.

Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys football player, Jessica Simpson’s boyfriend and non-pussy singer. The football player who’s in a funk was dragged on stage earlier this week when he and Jess went out at the Key Club on West Hollywood to catch a show of 80s cover band Metal Skool. The band’s front man saw them in the audience and called them up. Tony initially didn’t want to get up there but he eventually did when chants of ‘pussy’ erupted from the crowd. He sang Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ and tried in vain to get Jess to sing. When she did grab the mic, it wasn’t pretty. Lindsay Lohan has received nine nominations for her new movie in the Oscars. Great news right? Wrong. The nominations are for the year’s worst movies. The troubled actress is hotly tipped to win the Worst Actress award for her dual role in the thriller I Know Who Killed Me.

Lindsay, 21 – ordered to do community service for drink-driving – plays an abducted girl and a stripper who is missing body parts. The film is up for eight other “Razzies”, including Worst Picture.

Awards founder John Wilson said: “I Know Who Killed Me is the most fabulously brainless movie since Showgirls, which Razzie voters picked as the worst movie of the 1990s.“By the end of it, you still don’t know what happened.”

Actor Matthew McConaughey announced on his website Tuesday that he and his girlfriend Camila Alves are expecting a child together. He says on his site, “It’s three months growin in her womb and all looks healthy and lively so far. We are stoked and wowed by this miracle of creation and this gift from God, and so excited for the adventure that will come in raising this child, being mother and a father, and shepherding him or her through this life.”

Matthew is 38 and Camila is a mere 24. They met when the Brazillian model moved to L.A. Matthew’s rep says, “He is euphoric. He couldn’t be happier.”

This is one step closer to Matthew no longer being one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors. Looks like settling down is in his future.

I find it really cheesy when a singer sings about their current flame. It’s even cheesier when that current flame hasn’t even lasted a week yet. So grab your earplugs kids because Lindsay Lohan is doing just that when it comes to her making a new album.The now sober 21-year old was at Hollywood hot spot Goa on Sunday and a source says that she introduced a new guy to her pals as her boyfriend Spencer. He happens to be the same guy that she was caught kissing at Il Sole last week. But you all know how Lindsay’s relationships go. I doubt he’d even make it to the New Year.

Beyonce, the artist with too many slashes between job descriptions to mention, showed up in a green Zac Posen Resort at ‘Movies Rock: A Celebration of Music in Film’ which was held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday. And yes, she did her trademark pose of showing her armpits.

The noted singer and actress made a costume change into an Elie Saab dress some time during the show for her performance She performed a rousing rendition of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ from The Wizard of Oz.

The show will air on Friday, December 7 at 9PM ET/PT on CBS.

A former bodyguard for Lindsay Lohan is suing American Media, the parent company of Star Magazine, for mistakenly publishing his photo in an article in which a Lohan bodyguard blabs about her crazy moments.

An article was published in June and says, “The drugs, the guns, the wild sex, and the cutting - the man who witnessed it all reveals Lindsay Lohan’s darkest moments.” It lists the beans-spiller as a man named Lee Weaver.

The name is right - it was the photo that was wrong. Instead of printing a pic of Weaver, they printed one of former bodyguard Andrae Renard. Renard is now suing them, saying they damaged his career as a bodyguard due to their “libelous use of his photograph”. He also says he’s been “banned from entering certain elite Hollywood nightclubs”.

Star says they printed a retraction and removed the article from their website as soon as they learned of the mistake. Renard still asked for a reported million dollars because of the mistake.

Hmm, he can’t get into a night club? Well, heck yeah, he deserves the money. Heaven forbid they cost him his fun!

If you’re ever in Leipers Fork, Tennessee, keep your eyes peeled for some A-list celebrities. Urban and Kidman say their home there, just outside of Nashville, is a special place.

The two 40 year olds purchased a farm there this summer and have spent the last few months working on it. There they can find a little time away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood and enjoy some much needed time alone.

Urban says, “There’s a pace and a way of living that is much more spiritually satisfying to me than a lot of other places.”

It was just a day ago that Helio Castroneves was names the newest winner of Dancing with the Stars. Now, word has it that he and his fiancee Aliette Vazquez have separated.

He gave an exclusive statement to People Magazine, saying, “I can confirm that Aliette Vasquez and I have called off our engagement and are no longer together.” He also stated that he would like his private life to remain just that for now - private.

This isn’t the first wedding date change for Castroneves. He and Vazquez had already postponed it once earlier in the season. His explanation, “Everything is happening so quick. The championship is over, the dancing started, and basically, I was like, ‘Ali, let’s take it easy. Otherwise we will be divorces before we get married!’”

Now, this would seem like a normal, everyday occurance in Hollywood. Strange thing is, though, he isn’t the first member of the Dancing with the Stars crew to break off an engagement this season. In May, professional dancer Julianne Hough postponed her wedding to fellow dancer Zach Wilson. Why is this strange? In case you’ve been living under a rock, Hough was Castroneves’ partner for the show.

Hmm….sounds fishy to me….

In a surprise visit to the rehearsal studios of The Spice Girls, film stars Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with 19th month old daughter Suri; were treated to an impromptu private performance.It seems that having friends like Victoria and David Beckham on their speed dial has there bonuses. Following the surprise visit, Victoria said: “David and I are great friends with Tom and Katie. It was lovely of them to come down to rehearsals, a really nice surprise.

“Katie has told me before that she used to be a huge Spice Girls fan, so it was great for her to meet the other girls.”

Apparently this is what makes news these days. In essence some people went to visit friends where they had a sing song and a boogie. But because they are famous the world has to know about it. I sigh in exasperation and say good for them.

On a more relevant note, The Spice Girls are joining the reunion wagon and their tour kicks off in December. Is it the in thing for old bands to reunite this year?

The pop wreck that is known as Britney Spears was seen at Petco over the weekend. Seeing as her Thanksgiving plans are still unknown, a reporter took the liberty to ask her if she was going to take up Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus’ offer to join them on Turkey day.

Earlier this past week, In Touch reported that Billy Ray invited Britney to dinner with his family because his family cares and that Miley, who happens to be a big fan, wants to reach out to Brit.

As for her answer, Britney said yes. Can you just imagine the conversation at the table? But even though she confirmed attending, do consider her track record. Miley might as well start passing the yams already.

Now, I am assuming that there are still some loyal Cruise fans out there. If so, listen up.

Apparently Tom has donned a fat suit for a surprise guest spot in Ben Stiller’s upcoming comedy Tropic Thunder. He wore the bald, flabby, hairy-chested prosthetics to star in a secret cameo in the film.

Tom’s people have asked that the picture not be shown at this time, either on websites or magazines. While we’d love to show it to you here, we’ll respect that - for now. Let Tom’s people have their fun. (Even though the funny pics of the man couldn’t do anything but HELP his current image.)

The movie Tropic Thunder is about actors who are recreating a war and end up engaging in real life fighting. Tom and Ben Stiller are also in talks of costarring in a comedy called Hardy Men, a story of the famous teenage detective brothers as adults.

Sounds like Tom is hardy enough in this current film….

There is to be a 4th instalment in the Final Destination series. Director David R Ellis, who directed Final Destination 2, has been signed up to direct the 4th movie; which they plan to film in 3D. The popular horror series works on the premise that even if you cheat death once, the force that is death itself will stalk you until it has finished what it has started, usually as gruesome and gory as possible.

Apparently this isn’t true for sequels. You can kill a good idea. I think that the movie bosses made so much money (double their budget) on the 1st, 2nd, and even 3rd instalment they are willing to push their luck.

Do you ever get the feeling of de ja vu? There are only so many new ways you can kill a bunch of teenagers off before it gets yawnsome. However I could be totally wrong and we could have another hit movie on our hands. But ask yourself…who actually watched all of the Scream movies and can you remember what the last one was about?

Brad Pitt came to his girlfriend Angelina Jolie’s rescue at the European premiere of her new film Beowulf on Sunday, by helping her cover-up when her leather pants split at the back. Pitt and Jolie were on the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square when the actress’ skin-tight black leather trousers started to unstitch around her bottom. I think that it was really an embarrassing thing for her. I can imagine how I would feel if I were d 1.but nice thinking brad. Way 2 go! This is what happens when you marry early. Kate married early and didn’t really get anything out of her system and now she’s older and she should be settling down but instead she’s whoring around. Sadly she has a kid that has to see a new man in mom’s life on a weekly basis. Weekly basis, is something what I am saying not to hurt her images but because just a week or two at the most ago I heard of Kate and Owen exchanging emails and phone calls and that too quite frequently so I thought that the two are looking to patch up and find a new lease of life together. Well if any of the two stories are true then she is really playing the hookers game well here, she clearly needs to get her priorities right whether she wants to be a successful actress or successful in love life.

Actor Vince Vaughn has slammed aspiring actors who enter the profession just to find fame. The Wedding Crashers star believes youngsters in Hollywood no longer care about acting skills, as their only desire is to become a celebrity. I admit to being a shameless celebrity-hound, even going so far as to hotel-hop in the hopes of sighting my favorite celebs (see my link below), but I agree with Vaughan on this one. There are too many actors in Hollywood today who are utterly devoid of talent and seek only adulation. I won’t name any, but we all know who they are . . .Just for instance look at Paris Hilton, first she says she is going to Rwanda for aid and charity work only to postpone it and of course she is not going to miss the new years’ eve bash at the Lax or where ever she wants to party and the same goes for innumerable celebrities. They just will do and say anything to hog the limelight.

24 star Kiefer Sutherland blames fans for his jail sentence for driving under the influence, and is refusing to sign anymore autographs. The actor will spend Christmas behind bars after being sentenced to 48 days behind bars, following his arrest in September. It could be possible that he is reacting to bad news and said something out of character. In a case like this, where you will be spending some time in jail, probably detoxing in the process, anybody would be likely to lash out and blame others, it is a normal human behavior and most celebrities are not celebrated for their common sense, grace under pressure, or normal view on life. Besides it could have been taken out of context or never said. Comment not to demish his personal responsibility, you drink and drive as much as he probably has, you accept the risks, you had one free one, now it is jail time, which he of course deserves, as any one of use would get some time in the stripped home for our second DUI.

Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan is being investigated on possible assault charges against a photographer, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said on Tuesday. Brosnan got into a scuffle when the photographer started to compliment the actor on his James Bond films. Brosnan reacted by cursing Rosen and hitting him in the ribs while the photographer kicked the actor. Well I can’t understand that why the hell do these photogs need to go out and irritate the actors, Pierce was at a mall and just moving here and there enjoying himself, but these paps needs to spoil the day by going and talking to them and telling hey just one click please and one more click please, won’t that irritate him or anyone for that matter (if you are a celebrity that is). He must have assaulted Brosnan and Brosnan must and returned the favor without losing time. I love Pierce Brosnan and he was out of the world with his performances in the Bond movies and just for his acting and stunts I give him the benefit of doubt.

The ‘Spice Girls’ are such a hot commodity right now those A-listers like Tom Cruise are even having a hard time scoring tickets to the group’s upcoming tour. Cruise was so desperate for tickets he called Victoria Beckham personally and asked for some tickets, only to be denied. Tom & Katie threw them a party, but Posh can’t get those tickets. Damn!!! DANG! some writers/journalists-put so much in to nothing, Victoria Beckham; did not say that she would not give him a ticket -she said that they sold out……..and if she did let Tom Cruise in, without paying it would be a little obstructing, toward her fans, I would think……and you are making it like news of having really something to say that is nothing…….Well I am sure he can still manage to arrange the tickets from his sources that is if he still want to take baby Suri to watch the Spice Girl live.

I think he means that is ALL they want, and they will stoop to any level to get it. Think of a star that is in the news all the time and how many movies they have come out with all at once….like a new premiere every other month. They take on whatever roles are offered them, whether it would be good for their career or not. Why? They put themselves in the limelight constantly, for the sheer pleasure of seeing themselves in the limelight. But also tell me in today’s tech savvy world if you do not so this then someone else will and you don’t want to miss out on something that is so simple to get these days, just stand on the red carpet and keep smiling for those paps, they will ensure that you are on the menu for the next few days.

She does feel like the world should and does revolve around her, and it’s such a selfish outlook to take when their is billions of other people living in this world and she made two of them. She should care how she is raising those kids and how her choice that she makes now will affect those kids in the future. Not everything is about her, and If she really did care so greatly for them she would do what ever it takes to get them back. I know that a parent who really cares for their child would walk through fire if they had to, travel to the ends of the earth and beyond. Having someone give you advice on perhaps someway to take care of your kids better is such a minor thing, and to avoid the judges ruling is not going to be over looked. She needs to get her priorities straightened out. She is becoming such a waste. I can’t believe anyone would want to be her fan still.

Has Vin Diesel gone completely off the golden path that he’s mistaken for an American Idol contestant? Or has Chris Daughtry gained so much recognition that his being mistaken for a Hollywood actor?

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are in talks to come together for the 4th instalment of ‘The Fast and the Furious’. The print of the report may have showed a picture of the two actors but the website showed a picture of Idol contestant Chris Daughtry and Vin’s name below it.

Sure, more people may have seen Chris on Idol than they did Vin in ‘The Pacifier’ but come on! But don’t blame THR though, if you go to Getty Images and search for Vin, you’re going to get Chris too.

God Bless Jenny for using her fame to give a platform to the subject of Autism. When my son was 2 yrs old I was told by a doctor to put him away in an institution. My gut instinct said “NO!” He is now 20, volunteers at a local hospital, works 2 paid jobs and has a letter from President Bush for his years of volunteer service. Not bad for a young man that supposedly would always live in his own little world (according to the so-called medical expert)! For all you parents out there don’t give up the fight! Trust your gut instincts, and keep going! Break throughs come in spurts, and you can never know when it will happen. There is a reason mothers of those with autism are so fierce in the fight. Zac Efron helped launch Halo 3 at Universal Studios yesterday. Interesting choice. When I think of Halo, I think of crazy guns, ridiculous combat and ignoring your significant other. You know guy stuff. When I think of Zac Efron, I think of ballet slippers, pixie dust and fruit smoothies. I don’t like this guys name or his look. What’s with the “bangs” swooped over half in his eyes look?? Are you kidding me?……….
