Jennifer Lopez reportedly spent a staggering $1.4 million on giving birth.
The ‘Do It Well’ singer paid $700,000 to reserve a luxurious birthing suite at Long Island’s North Shore University Hospital, where she delivered her twins on February 22.
The $175,000-a-week suite - which included brown leather couches, a large Apple computer monitor, two plasma screen TVs, wooden flooring and a private kitchen - was also reserved by Jennifer and husband Marc Anthony three weeks before the star’s due date.
Jennifer and Marc also paid $300,000 for private doctors and nurses, $300,000 on security and a further $100,000 on personal assistants before the birth.
A family insider said: “Jennifer is doing so well but we have gone through a lot of tissues. Everyone is crying many tears of joy.”
I’d be crying too if I had spent that much!

Us Weekly magazine is cashing in one of the worst kept secrets of 2007–the Jennifer Lopez pregnancy. Lopez, who has yet to confirm her pregnancy graces the cover of their next issue, entitled, “Yes, She’s Pregnant!” I hope it is true…obviously with that baby bump it is, but i hope that she is finally having twins and they have two healthy babies. I want to see Marc handcuffed because he probably will run down the street like a madman! I LOVE YOU JENNIFER AND MARC Anthony. It’s wonderful news since she has wanted kids for awhile. I think the reason she isn’t saying much, like Christina, is because she wants to have a little control over the situation. Of course it’s no secret…she is absolutely glowing. But if she has still not confirmed that she is indeed and the mag is telling on its cover that she is then why doesn’t she say it herself, like is she doing this as a marketing gimmick to sort of have us thinking oh is she isn’t, when is she going to confirm all, very smart!

I suppose when you’re Jennifer Lopez, you can make as many demands as you want. I suppose those demands would be met immediately as well with top priority status. Hey, what you guys think if she enters a hotel and doesn’t make any hefty demands and stay in the room for a room without calling the room service, it would put the hotel in a fix that what mistake they have done so as not to hear any demands from a star singer and actress. The hotels have got used to it and their staff is always trained to handle the demands of celebrities staying at their hotel. If she asks for a particular room temperature, or wants bottled water and diet coke, coffee maker, hot water pot, the time she wants breakfast served and so on so forth, there’s nothing too demanding with this kind of list. These are basic amenities that hotels provide all their guest living in suites with, and then J Lo is a special guest wherever she goes. Such arrangements are the duties of the hotel management.
