Michael Lohan was released from a Massachusetts hospital on the weekend.

Lohan, who was admitted with chest pains that set in while he was preparing for a celebrity boxing match, said: “I’ve got either a blood clot or a blockage. They told me, ‘This is a stroke waiting to happen.’ They wanted to put stents in my heart three years ago, but I never did anything about it. At the hospital they wanted to do it right there but my cardiologist in New York said it was too invasive. I used to be on medication for this problem. I never told anyone. And then I stopped taking it, frankly because it made me gain weight and I’m such an a**hole about being in shape and exercising.”

Lohan, meanwhile, was reported by Bang Showbiz to be bonding with his ex-spouse Dina since the brief hospitalisation. Dina is the mother of Lindsay and Michael has been warring with both mother and daughter since he went public last year with their voicemail recordings and claims Lindsay was destroying herself with prescription drugs. He said: “I just got off the phone with Dina and we were crying to each other.”

Michael Lohan and Kate Major are moving in together, according to US reports.

They were seen looking very upbeat on ice at New York’s Rockefeller Center.

Major worked as an entertainment reporter for Star Magazine before she took up with Jon Gosselin for a brief liaison.

Gosselin is a firm friend of Lohan, and the trio dug in last year in the Hamptons when Gosselin’s broken marriage scandal was at its worst.

Relations between Major, who quit her job on an alleged promise from Gosselin, and Gosselin soured badly.

Lohan, meanwhile, has been busy in public scrapping with his ex-wife, Dina, ex-girlfriend, Erin Muller, and apparently ex-daughter Lindsay.

But he said: “Kate and I are both moving to California. If she can find a house or an apartment that’s right and big enough, then I’ll probably move in.”

Major reportedly has a new job waiting for her in LA. Lohan said: “I am trying to get away from my situation. I want to put some distance between myself and Erin [Muller].”

Lindsay Lohan’s parents have had a long-running bitter battle which they have happily slugged out verbally in the press.

But now Michael – who was arrested earlier this month over fights with his most recent girlfriend – has taken a drastically different approach.

Despite being taken back to court by Dina over claims he owes her at least $40,000 in child support, Michael is now praising her to the hilt – and more.

“Regardless of what Dina says or what happened, I respect her and will always love her as the mother of my children and a special person,” he gushed.

“She is a breath of fresh air after what I have gone through over the past two years,” he added, referring to his current problems with most recent ex, Erin Muller.

He insists his most recent court date with Dina is a glitch. “We will straighten this out in the next few weeks and start the new year on a positive note,” he insisted.

Dina Lohan has reached her threshold with ex-husband Michael.

Michael aired voicemail tapes of their daughter Lindsay Lohan’s alleged cry for help in what was the last straw for Dina. She said: “The tapes were from a long time ago and for a father to stoop this low is unforgiveable. My ex-husband has been in and out of jail for 10 years. My children and I gave him a chance to get to know them again and he clearly blew that chance!”

Dina is now considering legal action, Lindsay has already indicated she was on the verge of seeking a restraining order against a father she claims is, in a nutshell, estranged.

Dina claimed her daughter should be legally protected from a tape-leaking.

She continued: “I have had a criminal order of protection from the domestic violence sector since 2005. He was not supposed to even be harassing me by phone. My heart is breaking for my children that he could do this. He has no visitation any more and is six months behind in child support. The authorities have been alerted.”

Michael is on a crusade to stop what he alleges is Lindsay’s spiral into dangerous prescription drug addiction.

Lindsay Lohan’s mother fears the star will overdose and “end up like Heath Ledger”, her ex-husband claimed last night.

Mum Dina Lohan gave the chilling overdose warning in a phone call to the star’s father Michael Lohan – who then released it to a US TV show.

Michael insisted: “She told me she fears Lindsay will end up like Heath Ledger.”

Michael says his daughter “is taking Adderol, Xanax, Paxil” and he is horrified at how drug abuse is destroying his child’s looks.

“She’s a beautiful girl, but she looks 100 years old,” Michael complained.

Michael says he is planning even more desperate steps to force his daughter into seeking life-saving help.

“I am going to go to court to get a legal conservatorship to get Lindsay into rehab and finally get her off all the prescription meds,” he said.

“Dina is going to sit down with me and the lawyers and make things right for Lindsay.

“She is taking Adderol, Xanax, Paxil.”

His actions already sparked a legal battle as Dina was horrified that he would go public with her messages to him.

“He’s getting a cease-and-desist letter. If it’s something personal about your child, you don’t go public with it,” she said.

But Michael defended his decision, insisting drastic action is needed to save Lindsay.

Actress Megan Fox has admitted to not liking her one-time co-star Lindsay Lohan.

The two young stars worked together on the 2004 film Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen – and the Transformers actress makes no secret of her dislike of the Mean Girls star.

“We didn’t get along,” admits Fox.

The actress reveals their mutual dislike was mostly due to rivalry between teenage girls.

“We were, like, 17, so of course we didn’t get along. Girls are catty; they don’t like each other,” she said.

But in news that will certainly disturb Lindsay Lohan more is that Samantha Ronson has not only moved on but also moved into the arms of a new girlfriend who looks somewhat like Lindsay Lohan but has slightly darker hair comparatively.

The fear amongst people who are close to Lindsay Lohan is that the highly compulsive actress might just resort to the substance abuse problems that she is very well known for and has had a checkered history at that too.

A former assistant of the actress has said: “She’s back to straighten out Lindsay … and hopes to get her back into rehab, or at least some kind of counseling,”

Lindsay Lohan was warned by the late actor Heath Ledger regarding the dangers of letting her celebrity status overshadow her acting career. Recently the actress admitted that over the last couple of years she might have lost to other actresses basically because movies bosses where concerned about her party antics and therefore did not wish to hire her.

While speaking to a magazine Lindsay said “Heath Ledger once said something about this to me. He said: ‘It’s build-you-up to knock-you-down, and that’s all it is. And you just have to see if you can stand through it.’ And it is like that, if you put yourself in this situation.”

Well whatever he said she apparently did listen to him and remembers what advice he gave her but she hasn’t learnt anything from that at all and that’s pretty evident from her activities all the time.

It’s a shame, Lindsay possibly could have become a good actresses. Now she has trashed her life and everybody around her. She has not learned, she just keeps going deeper into the gutter.

The actress has recently stated why she thinks her relationships don’t work out: I’m a Cancer, which means I’m maternal and emotional. So in relationships I’m screwed!” Yet another amazing discovery has been made. That was the whole problem. The stars were not aligned properly so everything got screwed. Of course, I mean it’s logical: it’s the Universe’s fault, nothing more need be said. How fatalistic and resigned do you have to be to believe something like that? I wonder if Samantha feels the same way because if she does I think they should consent to get back together on account of bad universal circumstances. It would only be fair, wouldn’t it?
