Scarlett Johansson had a sit down with Spin magazine for their new issue and in the interview, she was asked about her upcoming debut album – in which her reply contains a pretty good diss on some of today’s most stupid singers. Scarlett says “I have no relationship with either [Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton], even as far as my lifestyle or the music I listen to. They probably made music that fits with their lifestyle - ‘Wouldn’t it be great if I were dancing to my own song in ‘da club’? But my album is more suited to my lifestyle. I live a very low-key life.”

Umm, aren’t you rushing to get that Playboy? Well, wrong place, buddy. She’ll appear topless and gray haired in celebration of her 50th birthday on the cover of AARP magazine.
Jamie Lee says she’s doing it to show women that you can age gracefully if you just take care of your body. If you remember (but who really does) she pulled similar stunt by appearing sans makeup and in a sports bra and briefs with no touch ups in More Magazine in 2002. She says it is to show people that “glam isn’t real but good health is.”

Christina Aguilera is reportedly fuming about the lack of interest in her recent People magazine cover that she has fired her manager, her PR firm BWR and an assistant. The cover which features Christina and 5-week old son Max Liron has apparently only sold about 1.3 million copies which is less than their usual selling amount. According to reports, “She went crazy and had a massive tantrum. It was astonishing. She was absolutely furious and blamed her staff for the way everything had been handled. She decided BWR had to go, then gave her day-to-day manager and one of her assistants their marching orders too.” If she was married to another big-name celebrity then maybe there’d be more interest.

In what could be one of the best things to happen to Amy Winehouse, her husband Blake Fielder-Civil is threatening to ask for a divorce from the singer. Wino’s father claims that his son-in law said that he was ready to call it a day after a recent fight with Amy. He tells Grazia magazine that “Blake threatened to issue divorce proceedings when they were having a row.” He also thinks that it’s Blake’s mom that is encouraging her son to seek a divorce. “Unfortunately, Blake is influenced by things his mother has said. I think Georgette wants them to divorce, but it’s up to them.”
Even friends are saying that the marriage is likely to fall apart saying “Blake has been listening to his mother, and he’s been hot and cold with Amy when they do meet.”

If God had a sense of humor, I’m sure that Britney Spears’ next boyfriend would turn out to be Larry Birkhead. In Touch magazine actually has a quote from Dannielynn’s papa saying “I think Britney is sexy.” Is it Britney or her money that’s sexy?A source close to Larry also adds that “He’s trying hard to get fixed up with Britney. Larry has a thing for vulnerable blondes — and no one seems more vulnerable than Britney these days. Larry wants to find someone who already has kids so they can raise their families together, just like the Brady Bunch.”

Well, there’s one less awards show and one less red carpet. People has announced that they are going to try a different format in light of the events surrounding the writer’s strike.
They will instead use a “magazine” format. They are going to have winners present acceptance speeches on video instead of live at the podium. They will also answer questions sent in by fans via email.
People chose to use the opportunity presented by the strike to launch this new format. Depending on popularity, it could become an ongoing thing.
Well, if I can’t was Sally Jesse Raphel before the show, ragging the celebs, forget it!

A former bodyguard for Lindsay Lohan is suing American Media, the parent company of Star Magazine, for mistakenly publishing his photo in an article in which a Lohan bodyguard blabs about her crazy moments.
An article was published in June and says, “The drugs, the guns, the wild sex, and the cutting - the man who witnessed it all reveals Lindsay Lohan’s darkest moments.” It lists the beans-spiller as a man named Lee Weaver.
The name is right - it was the photo that was wrong. Instead of printing a pic of Weaver, they printed one of former bodyguard Andrae Renard. Renard is now suing them, saying they damaged his career as a bodyguard due to their “libelous use of his photograph”. He also says he’s been “banned from entering certain elite Hollywood nightclubs”.
Star says they printed a retraction and removed the article from their website as soon as they learned of the mistake. Renard still asked for a reported million dollars because of the mistake.
Hmm, he can’t get into a night club? Well, heck yeah, he deserves the money. Heaven forbid they cost him his fun!
