Britney Spears is reportedly considering buying a $5.96 million mansion in Encino, Los Angeles.

The troubled singer – who was recently given back some of her visitation rights to her two sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline - viewed the five-bedroom, six-bathroom property yesterday afternoon.

The 7,300 sq ft mansion – which is not far from Kevin’s house in Tarzana - boasts vaulted ceilings, fireplaces, fountains, a spiral staircase, a Jacuzzi, a swimming pool with a spa, an indoor and outdoor dining room, a wine cellar, a family room and a designer kitchen complete with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances.

Britney, 26, recently came under fire after allegedly trashing the $35,000-a-month mansion she rented in Malibu, California. It was claimed Britney never lived in the mansion, but held parties there, which resulted in massive damage.

The source said: ‘The house was left a wreck. Cigarette burns and cigarette butts were everywhere - and empty bottles of wine were strewed about the place. Most of the furniture was ruined with stains, tears or nicks. Rotting food was left in the refrigerator. Spilled wine soiled the carpets and floors. No one picked up after Britney’s dogs, and many ‘presents’ of dog poop were left behind for the owners.’

Kansas City Royals fans can stop worrying about guilt as there won’t be 25 crying kids in the crowd when David Cook gets back into town. The American Idol contestant was approached by the baseball team to sing the national anthem at a game on May 9. The thing is 25 elementary kids were already book to do that job. Being the great guy that he is, David instead chose to sing ‘Take Me Out to the Ball Game’ during the 7th inning and throw out the first pitch. David was invited to the game because if he survives another week of Idol, he’ll be heading home to Missouri for a visit.

What in the name of Scientology is going on?! On a special diva’s show of Oprah which was shot in Las Vegas, Cher has decided to rip the sheets off a romance that was probably best left uncovered – a fling with Tom Cruise. Katie Holmes must be shuddering. According to Vegas Confidential, the diva told Oprah that she and Tom had a so-called long date when he was 23 and she was 39. She goes on to say that she lived with him in his apartment in New York and adds that Tom was a shy boy when they got together. Cher says “He was so wonderful … And he was so, like, different.” I am scared beyond wits end.

A porn video featuring Marilyn Monroe has been unearthed… and sold for $1.5 Million

The 15-minute black and white flick is thought to have been shot in the 1950s before Marilyn found global fame. It is said to show the Some Like It Hot star performing a sex act on an unidentified man. It has been bought by a New York businessman, who plans to lock it away to protect Marilyn’s reputation.

The film was stumbled upon by memorabilia collector Keya Morgan as he researched a documentary on Marilyn, who died aged 36 in 1962. Morgan said an ex-FBI spook told him about an informant who tipped off the agency about the video’s existence in the 1960s.

At the time FBI chief J Edgar Hoover was trying in vain to prove Marilyn was sleeping with President John F Kennedy or his brother Bobby. The informant made a copy of the flick, which ended up with his son after he died.

Morgan traced the son and acted as broker in the sale of the video to the businessman. He said: “You see instantly it’s Marilyn Monroe — she has the famous mole. She’s radiant.”

Morgan said the buyer told him: “I’m just going to lock it up. I’m not going to sell it out of respect.”

Edited declassified FBI documents say the informant “exhibited to agents a motion picture which depicted Marilyn Monroe committing a perverted act.”

According to the documents Marilyn’s husband, baseball hero Joe Dimaggio, tried in vain to buy the film for $25,000.

While in Shanghai, China, Beck visited the Xinhua hospital to spend some time with the pediatric leukemia patients. He talked with and held the children while there.

Kid Rock has entered his plea to battery charges stemming from a fight at a Waffle House in Atlanta. The rap rocker, whose real name is Robert Ritchie, was not in court when his attorney entered the plea on his behalf. And his say – not guilty. Cops arrested Kid and five members of his posse last October on misdemeanor charges of simple battery. The group had gone to the eatery after a concert when the fight broke out. According to police reports, a customer at the Waffle House saw a woman in Kid Rock’s party and exchanged words with her, allegedly inciting Kid.

Sheryl Crow wants to go to rehab because she thinks it will be good for her career.

The 46-year-old singer - who has just released her sixth album ‘Detours’ - is desperate to duet with “hot” Amy Winehouse, who picked up five Grammy Awards last week while being treated for her drugs addiction. Speaking at an intimate show in London, she said: “I want to collaborate with Amy because she’s really hot and cool right now.

“I know one song ‘Rehab’ was very popular particularly because a lot of young people are in rehab as well. In fact I’m thinking about going. It looks like loads of fun and I know my career will benefit from it.”

O-k then. It seems that Miss Crow appears to have missed the point of rehab…

Sheryl Crow’s son is preventing her from having a sex life. The singer adopted nine-month-old Wyatt in May last year, and says the baby is already dictating who is allowed to sleep over.

She said: “I have been dating. But Wyatt is going to be quite the little gatekeeper when it comes to who gets to stay!”

Sheryl - who split from her cycling champion fiancé Lance Armstrong in February 2006 after a two-year relationship - also revealed she has a very specific idea of the man she wants to spend her life with. The fine Peyton and Eli Manning have both joined the Double Stuf Racing League. Yeah, that’s the Oreo cookie league that’s popping up in commercials. Watch your television to see Eli and Peyton licking away, trying to beat the other in finishing the creamy middle.

Peyton says, “My brother and I have always enjoyed friendly competition both on and off the field. We also have fond memories of enjoying Oreo cookies and milk together as a family going back to our childhood days, so the DSRL is a natural second sport for us.”

The Associated Press, arguable the world’s largest news organization, has already begun preparing Britney Spears obituary! You know it’s bad when people are starting to prepare for your death when you’re still alive and kicking at the paparazzi.

AP’s entertainment editor Jesse Washington talked to Us Weekly saying “We are not wishing it, but if Britney passed away, it’s easily one of the biggest stories in a log time.” Washington adds “I think one would agree that Britney seems at risk right now. Of course, we would never wish any type of misfortune on anybody and hope that we would never have to use it until 50 years from now…but if something were to happen, we would have to be prepared.”

Christina Aguilera has returned home with her baby boy.

The award-winning singer, who gave birth to son Max Liron Bratman; her first child with husband Jordan Bratman; at Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Medical Center on Saturday 12th January is back at her Beverly Hills mansion and feeling ’sore’ after giving birth via Caesarean section.

A friend of Christina’s revealed: ‘She is still really sore as a result of her scheduled C-section. It was more painful than she thought.’

Although it is taking some time for the 27-year-old singer to recover from the birth, she is already using her musical talents to bond with Max. The source added, ‘Her voice is fine. She is already singing to Max.’

Who knew getting a haircut could be so controversial? Apparently so in the case of Rihanna.

She’s the cover girl for January’s issue of Allure magazine. In her cover story interview, she says, “The label (Def Jam) didn’t want me to do this look. But cutting my hair, it made me stand out as an artist. I don’t care who likes it - this is me.”

Well, it may be newly UNweds soon if Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon don’t correct their “irreconcilable differences”. Pam filed for divorce Friday in L.A., after a mere 2 months of marriage.

However, a posting today on her website said that they were “working on it”. And the couple was spotted out shopping together today in Maliby. So, maybe there’s hope after all. But geez, no one is perfectly happy in the first 2 months…you can’t go running around filing for divorce every time he makes you cry.

I still say she’ll never get over her first love - Tommy Lee.

Despite rumors of Tony having an affair, the couple is putting on a united front.Last week, French model Alexandra Paressant announced that she had an affair with Tony Parker, husband of Eva Longoria. The couple has jointly denied those rumors of infidelity.

Tony says, “I love my wife. She’s the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier.”

They continued to appear in public together, attending a Lakers/Spurs game in L.A. on Thursday. They exited a plane in Texas last Friday night, holding hands and kissing. Sources say they continue to be playful and affectionate with each other.

I find it really cheesy when a singer sings about their current flame. It’s even cheesier when that current flame hasn’t even lasted a week yet. So grab your earplugs kids because Lindsay Lohan is doing just that when it comes to her making a new album.The now sober 21-year old was at Hollywood hot spot Goa on Sunday and a source says that she introduced a new guy to her pals as her boyfriend Spencer. He happens to be the same guy that she was caught kissing at Il Sole last week. But you all know how Lindsay’s relationships go. I doubt he’d even make it to the New Year.

Late Monday night, a dazed and confused Britney Spears moaned to the paparazzi that she was scared ash she drove around in circles in LA. I guess she was scared of being deposed because she didn’t even show for it.

Sources are saying that KFed’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, is “going to seek court sanction against Miss Spears”. What does that mean for Brit? It means that if she misses her deposition whenever it’s rescheduled, she could be held in contempt of court and arrested. It’s obvious she has no respect for the law, why don’t you just arrest her now?! And to think that it was a court-ordered deposition too.

Or so it seems…..

Maybe the pretty princess really DOES care about people besides herself. At least she seemed to be doing just that during a freak accident at a Miami nightclub.

Here’s the scoop - Paris Hilton was partying at Cameo in Miami. A crowd rushed the stage suddenly, trampling and injuring a nightclub entertainer who was dressed as one of the Oompa-Loomps characters from the “Willie Wonka” movies. The performer, Robin Sherwood, ended up with a very bad cut to the leg.

Paris actually knew him - she had worked with him in the past and had actually tried to help him fight to receive a needed kidney transplant. When she realized he was hurt, the heiress hurried to Sherwood’s side and stayed there until emergency personnel arrived to care for him.

One source says, “Paris was great. She was there until he was turned over to the medical technicians.”

Wow - I, for one, am stunned. Next thing we know, she’ll be battling Brangelina for “Humanitarian of the Year”.

Is there no end to the saga that began when photos of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s flabby backside surfaced on the internet? She issued her rebuttal to the unkind remarks by writing in her blog on her website. I thought that would be the end of it, but no…now other celebs are coming out of the woodwork in her defense.

People magazine features a story in their Friday issue that talks about the issues behind the whole fiasco. In this story, they share comments from several female celebrities.

Model Petra Nemcova says, “There are different angles that everybody, even if you’re in great shae, can look bad in a photograph. And printing these images is definitely influencing people’s minds - the stars themselves, but also the people who are reading and looking at the images, the teenagers. It’s definitely good that she spoke out.”

Hewitt is trying to simply get on with her life. she went on a trip to Disneyland this week with her fiance Ross McCall and some friends.

Beyonce, the artist with too many slashes between job descriptions to mention, showed up in a green Zac Posen Resort at ‘Movies Rock: A Celebration of Music in Film’ which was held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday. And yes, she did her trademark pose of showing her armpits.

The noted singer and actress made a costume change into an Elie Saab dress some time during the show for her performance She performed a rousing rendition of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ from The Wizard of Oz.

If you’re ever in Leipers Fork, Tennessee, keep your eyes peeled for some A-list celebrities. Urban and Kidman say their home there, just outside of Nashville, is a special place.

The two 40 year olds purchased a farm there this summer and have spent the last few months working on it. There they can find a little time away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood and enjoy some much needed time alone.

Urban says, “There’s a pace and a way of living that is much more spiritually satisfying to me than a lot of other places.”

Aww, isn’t he just the cutest? Kudos to Keith and Nicole for being such an attractive, seemingly down to earth Hollywood couple.

Maybe my tears over Tom and Nicole were unfounded after all because both seem to have moved on and done quite well for themselves.

Paris Hilton has apparently caught the baby bug. She’s dreaming of a child who can grow up to be best friends with Nicole Richie’s soon-to-be-here baby.

She tells People, “Nicole and I have been playing together since we were two years old. I was just telling her, ‘I want a baby so that our babies can play together.’”

Problem is – she doesn’t even have a boyfriend right now! Although, with stars going to other countries and bringing back swarms of children, it may just be easier to do than she thinks. All she needs is a visa and enough money to bribe a small country – oh wait, she has that already doesn’t she?

I’m sorry, but I’m having enough time seeing Nicole as a mommy – can you actually see party-girl Paris settling down? Well, chances are, she’ll beat out Britney for “Mom of the Year”.

It was just a day ago that Helio Castroneves was names the newest winner of Dancing with the Stars. Now, word has it that he and his fiancee Aliette Vazquez have separated.

He gave an exclusive statement to People Magazine, saying, “I can confirm that Aliette Vasquez and I have called off our engagement and are no longer together.” He also stated that he would like his private life to remain just that for now - private.

This isn’t the first wedding date change for Castroneves. He and Vazquez had already postponed it once earlier in the season. His explanation, “Everything is happening so quick. The championship is over, the dancing started, and basically, I was like, ‘Ali, let’s take it easy. Otherwise we will be divorces before we get married!’”

Now, this would seem like a normal, everyday occurance in Hollywood. Strange thing is, though, he isn’t the first member of the Dancing with the Stars crew to break off an engagement this season. In May, professional dancer Julianne Hough postponed her wedding to fellow dancer Zach Wilson. Why is this strange? In case you’ve been living under a rock, Hough was Castroneves’ partner for the show.

Hmm….sounds fishy to me….

Looks like she’s gonna need some cheese to go with that. Unfortunately, though, it appears she’ll be eating it alone.

Amy’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil was denied bond Friday. He is charged with assault and tampering with witnesses in connection with that charge. He’ll be spending Christmas and New Years alone in jail as he awaits his January 18 hearing. The judge has stated a probable early June date if it goes to trial.

Amy arrived at the courthouse around 10:40 a.m. and waiting in the courtroom for her husband to arrive. When he came in at 11 a.m., he smiled and winked at his wife, mouthing, “I love you.” She sat with his younger brother, his mother, and a “family friend”.

The judge agreed to hear arguments in his chambers after complaints of the “intense scrutiny from the press”. The proceedings lasted about an hour and a half. When they returned to the courtroom for the decision around 12:30, the judge announced that the request for bail was denied.

Fielder-Civil held his hand up to his ear like a phone and mouthed to Amy, “I’ll call you.” She responded by waving and blowing kisses.

She quickly left the courthouse and refused to comment to any members of the press.
Her husband as for bail, but the judge said, “No, no, no!”

Being a mother myself I know all to well how forgetful you can get during pregnancy. Seriously, you are lucky if you remember your own name most days and if you find the car keys in the freezer and the butter in the oven you are having a good day.

But surely forgetting your underwear is a little on the extreme side? Especially for celebrities like Christina Aguilera, who must have an entourage of people around her to remind her of such necessities? But no, obviously knickers must be a rare commodity in Hollywood as she joins the growing list of stars leaving their underwear at home whilst out on the town.

Our pregnant star once slammed Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton for such behaviour, but we have pictures to prove she is now a full fledged member of the panty-less crew. Whether she will remember it or not I am sure someone will be happy to remind her…

Now, I am assuming that there are still some loyal Cruise fans out there. If so, listen up.

Apparently Tom has donned a fat suit for a surprise guest spot in Ben Stiller’s upcoming comedy Tropic Thunder. He wore the bald, flabby, hairy-chested prosthetics to star in a secret cameo in the film.

Tom’s people have asked that the picture not be shown at this time, either on websites or magazines. While we’d love to show it to you here, we’ll respect that - for now. Let Tom’s people have their fun. (Even though the funny pics of the man couldn’t do anything but HELP his current image.)

The movie Tropic Thunder is about actors who are recreating a war and end up engaging in real life fighting. Tom and Ben Stiller are also in talks of costarring in a comedy called Hardy Men, a story of the famous teenage detective brothers as adults.

Sounds like Tom is hardy enough in this current film….

That would be the sound of champagne corks popping over at Court TV. A Las Vegas judge ruled Wednesday that prosecutors have enough evidence to take O.J. Simpson and two alleged accomplices to trial on charges of robbing two sports memorabilia collectors at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room. I hope they finally fry his ***! I also would like to know how that jury sleeps at night. Their excuses for acquitting him was inexcusable, and for those of you who say he was found not guilty, let me say, you are incorrect. Being acquitted is not being found not guilty. I would like to know if Simpson is following through with his promise to find the real killers??? Oh, yes, he did, he admitted to killing them in his book. No one would write such a book when they have children by the woman who was murdered, just more proof he killed the mother of his children.

Brad Pitt came to his girlfriend Angelina Jolie’s rescue at the European premiere of her new film Beowulf on Sunday, by helping her cover-up when her leather pants split at the back. Pitt and Jolie were on the red carpet in London’s Leicester Square when the actress’ skin-tight black leather trousers started to unstitch around her bottom. I think that it was really an embarrassing thing for her. I can imagine how I would feel if I were d 1.but nice thinking brad. Way 2 go! I just can’t help with d thinking dat this whole thing was planned. Anyway what has happened has happened so I’ll advice Angelina 2 try and 4get it and face d future. At least she still has her whole life ahead of her. Sorry any way.
