Russell Crowe told actress Jenna Elfman that she looked so good in shorts she should be arrested.

Appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno alongside television star Elfman, who gave birth to her second son just weeks ago, the 46-year-old revealed she made a real impact on him.

Just seconds after she sat on the couch next to him he reminded her they met years earlier at a volleyball court on the beach. He then turned to the audience with a big smile and said: “She was wearing a pair of shorts that… you should have been arrested if you are wearing those shorts. Because if you are wearing those shorts then everyone around you is thinking really, really dirty things.”

Smiling and blushing slightly, Elfman said: “Well thank you, that’s nice to hear five weeks after having a baby!”

Earlier that day, Crowe had received his star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame and he told Leno about an experience at the world-famous tourist attraction at the beginning of his career. He said he went to a Hollywood bar to meet with a “young actress” who had landed a role in a film and was looking for her leading man.

He said: “After a couple of beers we are walking down Hollywood Boulevard and I saw Elvis Presley’s star, so I just dropped to my knees and kissed it. And she thought that was so unhygienic that I simply didn’t get that role. I mean, I respect the girl, but it’s Elvis!”

Seyfried is pictured in a lesbian lip-lock as Julianne Moore rips open her top and exposes her breasts.

The 24-year-old Mamma Mia actress plays prostitute Chloe in the film – she is hired by a married woman (Moore) to seduce her husband, played by Liam Neeson.

Seyfried, who also recently locked lips with Megan Fox for Jennifer’s Body, also appears naked in one scene after a hotel romp with Moore.

The film is a remake of the French thriller Nathalie… directed by Atom Egoyan. It opens in cinemas in March.

Johns reportedly said that he had heard Crowe asked for the books he and a third co-host had written so he would be able to fire off questions at the panellists.

Channel 9 was reportedly hoping to boost ratings with Crowe. However, Johns was suspended from the show after the massive sex scandal that destroyed his career.

Playboy boss Hugh Hefner has spoken out about hosting ex-girlfriend Kendra Wilkinson’s wedding and said her fiance is a “wonderful guy”.

The 83-year-old will hold the wedding at the Playboy mansion on June 27, when Kendra, 23, will marry NFL star Hank Baskett, 26.

He said: “I’m hosting it! We’ll be holding the wedding here in the front yard, and then we’ll be in the backyard.”

Talking about Wilkinson’s soon-to-be husband, he said: “I think he’s a wonderful guy.”

Wilkinson lived in the mansion with Hefner for five years along with his other girlfriends Holly Madison, 29, and Bridget Marquardt, 35.

Theresa White said she began an affair with the Olympic swimming champion in November and met up with him on a regular basis for sex.

The football player who’s in a funk was dragged on stage earlier this week when he and Jess went out at the Key Club on West Hollywood to catch a show of 80s cover band Metal Skool. The noted singer and actress made a costume change into an Elie Saab dress some time during the show for her performance She performed a rousing rendition of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ from The Wizard of Oz.
