The love for Tony Romo is just spreading all over the Simpson clan – extended family included. Jessica Simpson may need to keep an eye on her little sister. Us is reporting that Ashlee says that the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, her older sister’s latest boy toy, is “really cool” and that she “loves him”. The ever face-changing pop tart was gushing about the way Tony makes Jessica “absolutely happy”. And the love doesn’t stop with just the Simpsons. Ashlee’s boyfriend Pete Wentz apparently has a man crush on the Cowboy when he called him a “cool dude”. What a way to man up Pete.

Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys football player, Jessica Simpson’s boyfriend and non-pussy singer. The football player who’s in a funk was dragged on stage earlier this week when he and Jess went out at the Key Club on West Hollywood to catch a show of 80s cover band Metal Skool. The band’s front man saw them in the audience and called them up. Tony initially didn’t want to get up there but he eventually did when chants of ‘pussy’ erupted from the crowd. He sang Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ and tried in vain to get Jess to sing. When she did grab the mic, it wasn’t pretty. The band made some excuse about them being buzzed but eh, we all know Jess and Tony can’t sing for crap.

Jessica Simpson and Willie Nelson were in Austin, Texas recently to shoot a video for Willie’s new single. Joining them on the shoot were good pals Owen Wilson and Woody Harrelson.
Now, I somewhat understand the Jessica and Willie connection but I just don’t understand the Owen and Woody connection. And what the heck are they doing in the background? Is it me or does this look like the Texas version of Brokeback Mountain?
It’s too strange for my taste. You would think that having Jessica Simpson there would be enough. But no, they had to put the Owen and Woody Brokeback image in my mind. Yikes!
