Variety recently had a sit-down with Simon Cowell and he was asked to pinpoint a collective flaw in the cast of this year’s American Idol. Simon replied with “Personality. They are giving very safe answers to questions, making safe song selections. We are not getting a sense of who they are. We have to try to pull it out of them more. You cannot deliver an uninspired performance at the top of the show. And you can’t be up there imitating another singer.” What was Danny Noriega then, chopped liver? If he wanted personality, he should blame America for not voting for Danny.

She’s being nice and offering her congratulations, but you know inside she’s laughing. She knows she got the better end of the deal by being able to stay in her seat by Regis.

In response to Kathie Lee’s new television gig, Kelly Ripa says, “I’m so excited for her. Everybody’s like, ‘Have you ever met her?’ I’m like, met her? I know her intimately! I’m so happy for her.”

Kelly goes on, “She’s very influential in my life. I saw her doing it all - a working mom. She had a big impact on me.”

Oscar Apology to Whoopi Goldberg

After Whoopi’s pity party on The View, the producer of the Oscars has apologized for “an absolute oversight” that occurred when she was left out of an Oscar montage. Gil Cates said, “No harm was intended, and I feel very, very badly that she was left out. I’m going to call her and tell her that.”

He went on to explain that the montage was not just of hosts as described on the show. Instead, it was a montage of 80 exciting moments from hundreds of hours of Oscar footage. Hence, the reason why former host Steve Martin was also not included.

Survivor's
The Lunch Lady from Survivor: China didn’t win the grand prize, but she did get a fat one from Survivor producer Mark Burnett after she announced that she lost her job after being on the show. He forked over $50,000 bucks to Denise Martin.

This happened Sunday night. The former cafeteria worker was, by Tuesday, was having to explain some allegations that she misled us, based on a press release from the superintendent of the Douglas, Mass., school district. The superintendent says, “Although Mrs. Martin was a cafeteria employee prior to her selection as a contestant, she asked to be considered for a promotion to full-time custodian, and was promoted to this position on March 30, 2007. This promotion came with additional benefits and a higher salary. Following her leave, she then returned to this same position.”

Denise’s response: “Nancy has been outstanding to me…I appreciate everything they’ve done, and I’m sorry. I apologize to everybody. If none of this had happened, I could never say I’m sorry enough.”

Let’s hope she returns the money that is rightfully Burnett’s and figures out where to get a decent haircut.

No Red Carpet for People's Choice Awards

Well, there’s one less awards show and one less red carpet. People has announced that they are going to try a different format in light of the events surrounding the writer’s strike.

They will instead use a “magazine” format. They are going to have winners present acceptance speeches on video instead of live at the podium. They will also answer questions sent in by fans via email.

People chose to use the opportunity presented by the strike to launch this new format. Depending on popularity, it could become an ongoing thing.

Well, if I can’t was Sally Jesse Raphel before the show, ragging the celebs, forget it!

Beyonce, the artist with too many slashes between job descriptions to mention, showed up in a green Zac Posen Resort at ‘Movies Rock: A Celebration of Music in Film’ which was held at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday. And yes, she did her trademark pose of showing her armpits.

The noted singer and actress made a costume change into an Elie Saab dress some time during the show for her performance She performed a rousing rendition of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ from The Wizard of Oz.

The show will air on Friday, December 7 at 9PM ET/PT on CBS.

Pierce Brosnan accused of hitting photographer

Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan is being investigated on possible assault charges against a photographer, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said on Tuesday. Brosnan got into a scuffle when the photographer started to compliment the actor on his James Bond films. Brosnan reacted by cursing Rosen and hitting him in the ribs while the photographer kicked the actor. Well I can’t understand that why the hell do these photogs need to go out and irritate the actors, Pierce was at a mall and just moving here and there enjoying himself, but these paps needs to spoil the day by going and talking to them and telling hey just one click please and one more click please, won’t that irritate him or anyone for that matter (if you are a celebrity that is). He must have assaulted Brosnan and Brosnan must and returned the favor without losing time. I love Pierce Brosnan and he was out of the world with his performances in the Bond movies and just for his acting and stunts I give him the benefit of doubt.

She actually looks good here compared to her appearance on Oprah Winfrey promoting this movie. Jerry Seinfeld was looking at her on that show as tho he had never seen such a hideous monster. He probably never saw her during the voice overs. I like Renee Zellweger. Her FACE looks like that because she’s one of the few celebrities that have not done PLASTIC SURGERY. No one looks as perfect as most celebrity do when they age. I don’t even think we KNOW what celebrities look like when they get old. Demi Moore, Marcia Cross, ex-wife of House (M.D.), Michelle Pffiefer, Nicole Kidman the list goes on and on and on, have all gotten surgeries to look “younger”. I think that they just look weird and unnatural. I appreciate Renee coming out and representing middle aged women that DO age and don’t plasticize their face.

Marie Osmond Felled by Dancing Curse

Marie Osmond fainted on-camera Monday after her samba performance, joining the eerily growing list of celebrities who are literally suffering through this installment of the hit ABC series. The 48-year-old singer and mother of eight appeared to be just fine by the time the show came back from commercial break, with host Tom Bergeron informing the audience that Osmond’s first words upon awakening were, “Oh, crap.” hey girlie girl!!!! she is not even 50 and by no means is she OLD!!!!!! Eight kids yes 1/2 of which are adopted so behave yourselves. Feel bad that she fainted but dont put her down for it. 56 is not even old anymore remember how we live to almost 80 now. Don’t be rude both Marie and Jane are amazing women. Could you do better? If not then just shut up and watch them and if you can learn even the slightest from them then do so, the entertainment business is no child’s play kinder garden thing, you have to sweat it out to perform and sometimes over burden of work can cause a little dizziness. It should tell that they really work hard.

Zac Efron helped launch Halo 3 at Universal Studios yesterday. Interesting choice. When I think of Halo, I think of crazy guns, ridiculous combat and ignoring your significant other. You know guy stuff. When I think of Zac Efron, I think of ballet slippers, pixie dust and fruit smoothies. I don’t like this guys name or his look. What’s with the “bangs” swooped over half in his eyes look?? Are you kidding me?………. Also notice how his right ear is flaming red ass hot…His blood pressure and heart is beating a mile a minute with all of this attention. …. I would like to kick this motherfucker right between the teeth. He and his look are best suited as a grocery store bagger waiting on the town slut to come through the line so he can get her phone number.

justin-timberlake oprah.jpg was a guest on a new Oprah show. During his sit down with Ms. Winfrey, the mega pop star only had good things to say about his wreck of a former girlfriend Britney spears despite all the crazy antics she’s been up to.

When asked about what he thinks is going on with Brit, Justin said “I don’t know, to be honest with you. I haven’t spoken to her in years. I mean, there’s no ill will—I have nothing but love for her. It’s funny because we dated each other at a time…wow, I haven’t talked about this in a long time. It’s interesting.”

When asked about their romance and what he thinks of her, Justin said “: I think that’s basically the best way to describe what happened to us. I think she’s a great person, and I don’t know her as well as I did …. What I do know about her is she has a huge heart, and she is a great person.”

What a gentleman.

A nine-foot tall portrait of Tom Cruise is the main attraction in a new exhibition featuring 31 paintings and drawings of the movie star. I really think that guy maybe should put his talent into something that would contribute towards a charity or a foundation that could use his artistic talent.(911 foundation, Breast Cancer, or even St. Jude Children’s Research.)What a waste of paint and time…..I am sure is looking and I am not here to deny facts and show that I am the smart guy here. Me can spend millions to have sculptures and painting and life size postures of him created and put up at squares but what really matter to the common people who do not have his kind of money is if he can do something for them, they do not his money just something small help that can bring a smile on their faces. Tom, do something for which you are just not remembered by your fans but by your country people, your peers and the world, wouldn’t that give you immortality.

david_beckham.jpg
According to Radar magazine Victoria Beckham and David Beckham are the most overrated people in the world. Ratings apart the choice of words that the magazine has used for Victoria - A POINTLESS COLLECTION OF BODY PARTS!!!!! HAHAHAHA… NO OFFENSE TO THE BECKHAMS, but those are some funny words….Wow! Actually sounds like a reasonably honest list, putting Pitt and Oprah Almighty on that list of overrated people. And Bono ta’ boot? If they have Michael Moore and Alec Baldwin on that list I’m going to see it out and find a way to subscribe. But what ever has been the criteria for the ratings, David certainly knows how to play soccer or else he would never have been the captain of the England national football team. And Victoria would never have been a successful singer and designer that she is today. So probably the magazine should have a relook at the publishing and be more considerate on the matter.

russell-crowe-photo.jpg

Russell Crowe was left exasperated on the set of new western 3:10 To Yuma when director James Mangold tried to direct a herd of cattle, only for the cows to stampede in the wrong direction. I don’t care. I just same YUMA and I thought it was a terrific movie. Crowe was great. Bale is superb, Foster was excellent. Builds to a great climax. You gotta see this movie. When there is a movie that is in the making there are bound to be some mishaps and surely they might have tried to avert the same but things do not always turn out to be the way it is planned. What is important that no one was hurt and the movie has turned out to be brilliant! Aren’t there stunt men and coordination managers who handle a thing on the set, they should be held responsible for all such matters, Mr. Crowe should be thinking more about performing his role and that’s what he is there for.

My Spidey sense tells me that Tobey Maguire’s marital status has changed. A bet ya guys and gals out there that it has changed and our spider man is now married to his long time girl friend and the mother of his daughter Jennifer Meyers. The 32-year-old actor and longtime girlfriend Jennifer Meyers have tied the knot in Kona on Hawaii’s Big Island. The low-key couple, who have been an item since 2003, subsequently welcomed daughter Ruby in November. Though after his daughter’s birth, Mr. Maguire had been in the news for promoting his then to be released third installment of the Spiderman movie series and how much he loved the arrival of his daughter in their lives but never was there a word about the impending marriage to Jennifer. And now all of a sudden there is this news that the two are married and both are very happy for each other. That’s so cool, like the family is complete and they are together.

o stone b willis.jpg

Vietnam has always played a large part in Oliver Stone’s life. So, it comes as no surprise that the Oscar-winning Platoon director is eyeing a return to that sacred ground.
According to the trades, Stone is in final negotiations with United Artists to finance Pinkville, a mystery drama he plans to direct about the infamous 1968 My Lai massacre that ended up being a key turning point in the Vietnam War. Really true, America and it’s people along with film makers have not been able to get over America’s failure in Vietnam and they have a story every now and again that they like to tell us. There have been comedy movies, war time movies and movies about the way brutality took place during the war, but yet they’ll find something more they’d like us to know about. Vietnam has been well documented and perhaps we all more than what we can digest but the appetite of Hollywood film makers are larger than the 7 oceans on the planet.

geena-davis.jpg

Geena Davis is feeling less than charitable toward the owners of a Minnesota-based advocacy group. The actress is suing Joseph Kelly and Nancy Gruver, owners of the nonprofit organization Dads & Daughters, claiming the duo stole her idea for the group and are passing it off as their own. It doesn’t really matter who came up with the idea (although I’d venture to say it was Geena). The most important thing is the parent being proactive in the child’s life. Let’s ensure that happens and not hurt the organization. But for them they don’t want to give an inch to someone else even if it means applauding someone else’s effort in trying to good some good work. Why not be constructive and joins hands when the pursuit and the goal is same rather than being destructive. Well all I can say these are the funny games that Hollywood expertise at and you cannot beat them at the game.

Lisa Marie Presley is fuming after learning her late father’s Viva Las Vegas hit is providing the theme to a new TV campaign for sex drug Viagra. Elvis croons the classic as part of the quirky Viva Viagra TV ad - suggesting even The King understood how frustrating erectile dysfunction can be. Just as bad as Luvs diapers theme “All You Need is Love by the Beatles. Why wouldn’t that song get licensed? It was/is popular.. You snooze you lose! Since you have been snoozing all this time you can continue to do the same we’d not like to disturb your sound sleep. If there is no license on that song of Elvis then it’s really open for reproduction and remixing and all that these people out there wanting to take advantage would like to do. For a company if the songs call help them sell Viagra pills then they would go all out to get their mileage from the songs – no holds barred.

Wow, I used to think Foxx had some brains, again I am wrong. Dude, putting animals in a ring to kill each other is not right no matter what color you are. Moron. Are you kidding me?? Vick is how old? I think he knows the difference between right and wrong here and what does race have to do with the ethical treatment of animals? celebs these days think just because they are who they are can say anything. Even if it makes no sense and is dumb as hell. Hey, Mike that’s why you were hiding the fights behind your house in Virginia. I couldn’t totally follow his bullshit reasoning, so I didn’t try too hard. This situation has nothing to do with him being black, so Jamie Foxx trying to play the race card is annoying and stupid. In their statement, they expressed their excitement for the reveal of the cover and said that they were all involved with the design (really?) and are pleased with it. They also said that they are working on the album and have started planning for the tour.

They also gave a big Girl Power hug to Baby Spice who just had a baby boy.

Brooke Shields has blamed the legal troubles of stars such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie on bad parenting. Shields, who has two children and admits she’s a strict parent, believes Hollywood’s young celebrities would be better behaved if their mothers had brought them up properly. Ha Ha Brooke Shield’s has no sex appeal absolutely any. She reminds me of a prune Danish something that and old man might gum at but really get no enjoyment out of. But she is just another Celebs who using the fame of Paris and the others just to have something of her written about in the media, Brooke Shields, I haven’t heard of her in a long long time, where has she been and what is it about her that she made such comments. Ethan Hawke, whose split from Uma Thurman caused tabloid frenzy, says being part of a celebrity couple can be hard on the ego. ”What happens - it’s not that they’re jealous of each other; it’s that the person you share your life with isn’t in the mood to support,” Hawke says. ”You want to have a pity party for yourself, but they’re off to the Golden Globes and you don’t want to go because everyone is going to think you are jealous.” I believe it. Some men also have a hard time when women earn more than they do. So who was the jealous one in this case? When you guys get married at that time you will go over the board praising each other and telling all the good things that led you to fall in love. The moment the honeymoon period is over you guys are at each other vying for blood. Take life as is it comes, there is toilet paper all over the place but it ain’t meaning that you clean your dirty lien in public, what happened is history – no pain no gain.

As if we need another Naomi Campbell in the world. But for Foxy Brown, that happens to be the case. You would think that all the legal trouble she’s in would make her want to stay out of trouble, but no. Foxy channeled her inner Naomi and threw a tantrum at her neighbor.

She may not have a hit record in ages but she has a hit with her neighbor who she hit with a Blackberry. The victim was reportedly taken to Brooklyn Hospital after getting into a scuffle with Foxy. She was treated for almost losing some teeth, swelling of the lip and swelling of the right eye. The incident happened on July 30th. Foxy just turned herself in a few days ago.

Foxy was released on a $5,000 bail and charged with assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon. She has another court date to make on September 26th.

The producer of Jessica Simpson’s upcoming film Major Movie Star has denied reports the actress is behaving like a diva onset. He says, “Jessica’s fun, committed and focused. She is a team player and she makes it fun. She’s a workhorse. Jessica is a total pro.” The producer says so because he cannot risk the production of the movie just for the ugliness shown by one of the stars on the movie sets and that’s the plain and simple truth. The poor guy has put in the money and does not want the movie to gather a bad image just because of a snobbish actress like Jessica is involved in the movie making. She can’t act but still the producer has given her a chance and how she plans to repay his faith, with loads of tantrums. Hey baby let the poor guy live for sometime or else he could just have to say all the good things about you which he never ever would like to say in his dreams either. After being a blonde doesn’t mean you have the acting skill in your head.

Hey like this is the cool thing I’d like Hollywood celebs to do more often, it’s not just about be cooling with the young kids so that they like watching your movies. It’s more to do with having fun with the kids and being a good role model for them, in the process teaching them the good values that life should be lived with and fill their lives with some happiness. With his movie The Broune doing well at the box office there is enough reason for Matt to sports a smile and share good time on the Animation series.

britney-and-kevin.jpg

It’s all about the money, Honey. This is the plain truth about Hollywood and nothing else should be out into words to unwind this fact, marriages happen for wealth and divorces take place to steal that money and put it into one’s bank account. it sort of makes me want to find Britney Spears and tell her all about what karma is, and then also ask her if she’s ever heard a little saying that goes “I TOLD YOU SO!” because if she hasn’t, I’d let her in on what it means and how it applies to her. Britney has been so successful and yet if she didn’t learn to protect her own interest and have a prenuptial agreement debarring Kevin from her riches then there is bigger laughing stock out there other than her. Definitely think Kevin is money motivated and Britney is crazy. So someone needs to intervene. I’m surprised Madonna hasn’t tried to adopt Sean and Jayden! Doesn’t she like to “save” babies? (By save I mean steal and call it saving.) I hope Kevin doesn’t get a dime of her money.

Oscar award winner Clint Eastwood has become a sought after composer. He has recently been recruited to write the score for an upcoming film. He was approached by Harvey Weinstein to compose the music for John Cusack’s upcoming drama “Grace is Gone”. He had already had one score written by Max Richter which he scrapped. Weinstein believes that Eastwood has a good understanding of the right music that can impact the emotion and meaning of a film. Eastwood has been known to compose music for film in the past but only for those that he’d produced himself. There is a generation that has grown up with Eastwood and followed his career over time. There should be many people who are interested in what he can bring to film with music. After acting for so many years there comes a time to change and grow and he seems to be doing that quite smoothly for someone who has been in the business for so many years.
