The one-month-old was reportedly brought to the facility on the Algarve by a group of the sportsman’s relatives.

The cause of the health scare remains unknown.

The group, which included Ronaldo’s sister Katia, are said to have arrived in a four-wheel drive, followed by a car of security men, but did not include the Real Madrid player.

After spending two hours inside the hospital, the infant was driven home, the Sun reports.

Ronaldo has refused to publicly name his son’s mother, announcing only: “It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy. As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship.”

Model Kate Moss has reportedly enlisted a hypnotherapist to help her give up alcohol and cigarettes so she can try for another baby.

The 36-year-old is dating The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince and has a seven-year-old daughter from her relationship with magazine editor Jefferson Hack.

A friend said to UK newspaper The Sun: “Kate is aware that she smokes heavily and probably drinks a little too much. So she has been to a Harley Street therapist to help her break those habits.

“Jamie is keen to start a family and Kate knows that it would be wise to try to conquer her vices before she gets pregnant again.

“She’s really been enjoying her sessions and has already begun to see the benefits. Her daughter Lila has been hinting that she wants a sibling and Jamie has made it clear that he’d love to be a dad. Now Kate is coming round to the idea of having another child and the first step on the process is to cut out her bad habits.”

Sandra Bullock is thought to have left cryptic clues about her adoption of a baby in her Oscars acceptance speech.

The 45-year-old actress recently revealed that she adopted Louis from New Orleans earlier this year.

In her acceptance speech at the Oscars in March, Bullock said: “I would like to thank what this film is about for me, the mums that take care of the babies and the children no matter where they come from. Those mums and parents never get thanked.”

She won the Best Actress gong for her performance in The Blind Side, which sees a family take in a homeless boy who later becomes an NFL star.

In her speech, she also thanked her late mother Helga.

She said: “[She reminded] her daughters that there’s no race, no religion, no class system, no colour, nothing, no sexual orientation that makes us better than anyone else. We are all deserving of love. That trailblazer… allowed me to have that.”

Businessman Adam Dell is the father of chef Padma Lakshmi’s daughter, according to US reports.

The 40-year-old venture capitalist has been named as the father of baby Krishna after Top Chef host Lakshmi, 39, was keeping quiet about the identity of the baby’s dad.

Lakshmi announced she was pregnant in October but refused to name the father and gave birth to the little girl last month.

A source told PEOPLE that the pair are now trying to work out visitation rights and that Dell would like ‘more time and involvement with the child’.

The source added: “It’s all in negotiations. They are trying to work it out. They are trying to avoid anything messy.”

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has shown off the first pictures of her baby son Benjamin.

The 29-year-old new mum proudly posed for the cover of a Brazilian magazine with her eight-week-old son wrapped up in a blue jacket.

Benjamin is Bündchen’s first child with husband Tom Brady, who also has a two-year-old son Jack from a previous relationship.

Bündchen told the magazine that she was “washing the dishes and making pancakes” just 48 hours after she gave birth to her baby boy.

She recently said to a Brazilian newspaper: “I gained a little [weight], but I kept using almost the same clothes, with minor adjustments to close in the belly.”

Girls Next Door star Holly Madison has revealed that she wants to give her former co-star’s baby a new hairstyle.

The 30-year-old model is dying to tease Kendra Wilkinson’s son’s locks into a new hairdo.

She said: “I want to give him a little Mohawk because he has all that fabulous hair.”

Wilkinson, 24, gave birth last month to son Hank Baskett IV – her first child with American football player Hank Baskett.

Although Madison has not yet been to visit the new mother in Indiana, she said her former co-star was doing well.

In the latest twist in the battle between the Palins and the 18-year-old, the former candidate for US vice-president’s daughter Bristol is looking to keep baby Tripp in the family’s Alaskan home.

According to a US showbiz TV show, her legal team is claiming Levi violated a gag order preventing him from speaking about the custody battle.

Bristol’s camp even threatened to hold Levi in contempt of court for this violation. The gag order has been lifted.

In recent months, Levi has been on a US media tour, speaking about his quarrel with the family on TV shows and websites as well as posing nude for a magazine.

Bristol’s attorney Thomas V. Van Flein said in the papers: “The best interests of the child compel the conclusion that Bristol should be awarded 100% legal and physical custody of Tripp, with visitation rights in favor of Levi.”

Levi’s attorney Rex Butler reportedly hit back saying: “Levi has no intent to seek the attention of the press to gain an advantage in this litigation or bring disrepute upon any of the parties.”

Despite a request by Bristol’s legal team to keep the court proceedings closed, the status of the case is currently listed as being open.

Khloe Kardashian is saying a fond farewell to family store Smooch as it closes after six years.

It was recently announced that the family were shutting the shop as they didn’t have the time to run it, with Kourtney, 30, expecting a baby boy later this month.

Khloe, 25, wrote on her blog that customers can get a 50 per cent discount on items as the store prepares to close.

She said: “As some of you may already know, our children’s boutique Smooch is closing.

“Kourtney and my mom opened it six years ago and they poured their hearts into making it everything they dreamed it would be. It was something they had always wanted to do and they made it happen and did a beautiful job with it.

“Unfortunately with all of our busy schedules and with the baby coming, there’s no time to put that same love into the store. With that said, everything in the store is half off, even the furniture and all the cute accessories!”

Bridget Marquardt has revealed she has been on a shopping spree for her pal Kendra Wilkinson’s baby.

Kendra, 24, is expecting a baby boy next month and her former Girls Next Door co-star Bridget, 36, has bought her a bunch of gifts as she approaches her delivery date.

Reality star Spencer Pratt has revealed that he is barely having sex with his wife and recent Playboy cover star Heidi Montag.

The Hills star said that sex is not currently a factor in the couple’s marriage.

The 26-year-old is withholding sex from Montag, 23, who is keen to have a baby, as he does not want to become a father just yet.

He said: “I’m gonna get crass here – but we’re barely having sex because I’m scared that she’s gonna have a baby.

“That’s the level our marriage is on right now. I’m not even kidding – my wife has me debating cutting off my nuts.”

Pratt is also apparently worried that Montag could stop taking her birth-control without telling him.

He added: “She’s not the kind of person who would lie – she would just walk away and not answer the question.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are planning to adopt a child from the Philippines.

The Hollywood couple, who have six children, have reportedly set their sights on the Asian country after their efforts to adopt in Burma fell through.

According to reports, Jolie, 33, took time off from the set of her latest film, Salt, to travel to Manila with the intention of adding to her growing family.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: “Brad and Angie flew out together. They want to add to their family and tried to adopt from Burma but the authorities are very strict, so they decided to look at the Philippines.”

A spokesperson for Pitt and Jolie declined to comment.
