Ozzy has recently released a lengthy statement regarding the matter. He said “It is with great regret that I had to resort to legal action against my long term partner, Tony Iommi, but after three years of trying to resolve this issue amicably, I feel I have no other recourse.” The rest of the statement goes on to read how Ozzy and the other two members of the band put a lot of work into Black Sabbath to not be recognized as owners of the trademark as well.
